🌿𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐲: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲🌺

The Association of Forestry Students successfully conducted its First Semester General Assembly, bringing students together under one canopy of unity, connection, and shared purpose. The program started a few minutes later than scheduled due to unexpected technical issues, but the assembly continued smoothly and successfully.

The gathering served as a meaningful opportunity to reconnect, welcome the new semester, and strengthen the bonds within our forestry family. Like the forest we strive to protect, we continue to grow our roots, support one another, and flourish together as future forest stewards.

Graduate students of the College of Forestry and Environmental Science successfully presented their research during the FOR 299 – Graduate Seminar, showcasing a wide range of studies in forest biodiversity, agroforestry, wood science, and sustainable natural resource management. Each presentation reflected the students' dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and addressing real-world environmental concerns through research.

The seminar served as a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas, encouraging meaningful academic discussions among faculty members, fellow researchers, and students. It also highlighted the importance of collaborative learning, critical thinking, and evidence-based solutions in responding to the evolving challenges faced by the forestry and environmental sectors.

More than a showcase of research, the event celebrated the commitment of our graduate students to innovation, sustainability, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge in service of both people and the environment.

Congratulations to all the presenters on this significant academic milestone.
