The Graduate School is pleased to invite faculty members, researchers, graduate students, and members of the academic community to the Graduate Seminar Presentation | Midyear 2026, with the theme:

"Innovations and Emerging Perspectives in the Biological Sciences"

This academic event will feature graduate seminar presentations highlighting current research, scientific innovations, and emerging perspectives in the fields of Systematics, Plant Biology, Animal Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology. The presentations will demonstrate how these disciplines collectively contribute to advancing biological research, addressing complex environmental and societal challenges, and promoting sustainable development through science and innovation.

Serving as a venue for scholarly discourse and intellectual exchange, the Graduate Seminar aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthen research capacity, and encourage the dissemination of scientific knowledge among faculty, researchers, graduate students, and the broader academic community.

The Biological Sciences Graduate Students' Association, together with the CMU DOST STRAND Scholars Organization, SK Poblacion Valencia, and the Local Government Unit of Valencia, conducted an outreach program through the Program Angel Tree in Barangay Concepcion of Valencia City. One hundred twenty-six schoolchildren received hygiene kits, which were essential for their day-to-day living.

The BSGSA would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the faculty of the Institute of Biological Sciences for their generous donations to this cause, as well as to our members. Your donation has helped those in need. This would not be possible without your in-kind donations.

The BSGSA will now begin collecting its organizational fee for the 2nd semester of A.Y. 2025-2026. Your payments are necessary to support the various activities that our organization will conduct.

The organizational fee for this semester is ๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—.๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ ๐๐‡๐. As decided in the recently concluded general assembly, our extendee members will still pay a ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ.๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐๐‡๐ membership fee given that they submit evidence stating that they are extendee students.
