A Doctor of Business Administration and PhD in Educational Administration, Dr. Sudaria brings extensive academic and administrative leadership experience, having served as Vice President for Administration, College Dean, and Department Chairperson.

With a PhD in Educational Administration, Dr. Dumancas brings strong academic and institutional leadership experience, strengthened by her previous roles as Department Chairperson and Chief of the Technology Transfer Unit.

A Doctor of Business Administration and CMU scholar, Dr. Sudaria combines academic expertise with practical experience in business branch operations and entrepreneurship, bringing industry and entrepreneurial perspectives to academic leadership.

Chief, IPTBM Technology Transfer Unit

With graduate degrees in Business Management and Public Service Management, Ms. Tumaroy combines business and public service expertise with experience in extension, product analysis, marketing, and digital business operations.

There is a special kind of fulfillment in seeing our own people take the helm of offices and units where they can contribute on an even broader scale. These leadership milestones reflect the University’s trust and confidence in individuals whose capabilities have been built through years of education, professional experience, and dedicated service.

For CBM, seeing our colleagues entrusted with these responsibilities is a success for the entire College, an affirmation that their contributions are recognized, and their capabilities are valued by the University.

𝐁𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐒: 𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

We are happy to share that the 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 has successfully completed its registration and received approval for our off-campus activities!

In line with this milestone, we successfully conducted our 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 (𝐕𝐂𝐖𝐃) through their bloodletting activity.

We are grateful to everyone who took part and helped make this activity a success. This marks the beginning of more meaningful initiatives beyond the campus as we continue to serve and make a difference in our community.

And we’re just getting started!

Our next off-campus activity will be our 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐂𝐖𝐃 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤. We look forward to another opportunity to come together, give back, and contribute to a greener and healthier community.

The 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 formally welcomed students, faculty, and staff during the College Orientation held at the 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓, marking the opening of another academic year.

The orientation provided students with 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 and 𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆. Concerning the college’s academic expectations, programs, activities, and opportunities. It also served as an avenue for students to gain a clearer understanding of the responsibilities and opportunities that come with being part of the CBM community.

During the gathering, the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒏 delivered an inspirational message, emphasizing the importance of 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 in navigating the challenges of academic life. Students were encouraged to remain committed to their goals, embrace new opportunities, and continuously develop themselves throughout their academic journey.

The orientation also reinforced the importance of cooperation among students, faculty, and staff in fostering a supportive and productive academic environment.

As the new academic year begins, the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 remains committed to guiding and supporting its students toward academic excellence, personal development, and meaningful participation in the college community.

𝑫𝒓. 𝑷𝒆𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒐 “𝑻𝒐𝒚𝒕𝒐𝒚” 𝑯. 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒐, CBM's Guest of Honor and Speaker for its 2026 Graduate Hooding Ceremony was conferred by Central Mindanao University, upon the initiative of the College of Business and Management, the honorary degree of Doctor of Business Administration in 2020. This conferment was more than ceremonial, it was the University's declaration that his life's work embodies the very values and aspirations it hopes every graduate will one day reflect. In 2022, Dr. Baculio was further recognized as 𝑪𝑴𝑼'𝒔 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒏𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, becoming only the 2nd alumnus from the College to receive this distinction.

Popularly known as 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐲, he is the youngest of six children of former Congressman Pedro S. Baculio and Ms. Marina Mercado Hojas of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. Though born into a prominent and influential family, it was within the halls of CMU where he learned some of life's most valuable lessons. A son of a haciendera, he often recalls his years at CMU as a series of meaningful "firsts" that taught him the dignity of hard work, the discipline of saving, the value of genuine friendships, and the humility that would shape his character and leadership.

His distinguished career in rural electrification began when he became the 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕-𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑰 (𝑴𝑶𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑪𝑶-𝑰), 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚'𝒔 𝒏𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒊𝒔 11-𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑. He later led several electric cooperatives nationwide before being elected National President of the country's 120 electric cooperatives, representing more than 10 million member-consumers. Among the many projects he spearheaded was a landmark ₱400-million rural electrification initiative in 2004. Since 2011, he has served as Consultant to the Office of the President of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
