A mother’s love is often found in the quietest moments—when she waits up late just to make sure we get home safely, when she sets aside her own needs so we could have what we need, and when she carries worries she rarely speaks about just to protect us from them. In all these unseen moments, she becomes the steady strength behind every child who keeps going, even when she herself feels tired and overwhelmed.
In the Month of Mary, we are reminded that this kind of love is gentle, selfless, and faithful. And like our Blessed Mother, mothers continue to guide, comfort, and pray for the people they love in ways that are often quiet, but deeply felt.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us pray for all mothers in the world:
Lord, we lift up all mothers and maternal figures to You. In their tired days, give them rest; in their silent worries, give them peace; and in their sacrifices, give them comfort and joy. Let them feel today and always how deeply they are loved and appreciated. Amen.
