Forty years ago, history proved that real power does not sit in palacesโ€”it rises in the streets, in the voices of the brave, and in the hearts of ordinary people who refuse to be silenced.

The 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution is a reminder that courage can topple fear, that unity can defeat oppression, and that democracy is strongest when the people stand together. Today, we honor the heroes who chose resistance, truth, hope, and unity to fight for our countryโ€™s democracy. And now, their fight is now our responsibility. Their legacy is now our duty.
