ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Kahapon ay matagumpay na idinaos ang huling araw ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 sa Balugo National High School na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang patimpalak, naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang husay, pagkamalikhain, at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino, kasabay ng pagkilala sa makabagong teknolohiya bilang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto at pananaliksik. Kapansin-pansin din ang maayos na pagsasagawa ng mga kompetisyon nang hindi naaantala ang iskedyul at pag-aaral ng mga mag-aaral.

Taos-pusong pagbati at pasasalamat sa lahat ng masisipag at dedikadong g**o na naging bahagi ng matagumpay na pagdiriwang na ito, sa pangunguna ni Ginang Rosie Anastacio, at sa paggabay ng ating Punongg**o, G. Marlon P. Branzuela.

Tunghayan natin ang mga natatanging sandali ng pagdiriwang na nagpapatunay na ang wikang Filipino ay buhay, umuunlad, at patuloy na nagiging tulay sa kaalaman at makabagong mundo.
