PLANTATION CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL proudly joins the celebration of the 23rd Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week with the theme:

“One Shared Voice, One Collective Choice: Advocacy to Empowerment.”

Today, we celebrate not only awareness, but the strength, courage, and potential of every learner with cerebral palsy. Their journey reminds us that every child deserves to be understood, accepted, included, and given the opportunity to shine in their own way.

May we continue to turn awareness into compassion, compassion into advocacy, and advocacy into meaningful action. Because when we choose to listen, understand, and stand together, we create a community where no learner is left behind and every child knows they belong. 💙

At Plantation Central Elementary School, we believe that inclusion is more than a promise—it is something we live every day through our care, acceptance, and commitment to every learner.

One shared voice. One collective choice. One community that believes in every child.

🌟 Plantation Central Elementary School Joins the Celebration of White Cane Safety Day 2026 🌟

"Puting Baston: Simbolo ng Kalayaan, Pagkakapantay-pantay, at Ganap na Pakikilahok."

This Monday, August 3, 2026, Plantation Central Elementary School proudly joins the nation in celebrating White Cane Safety Day 2026, a meaningful event that promotes awareness, respect, and equal opportunities for persons who are blind or visually impaired.

The white cane is more than a mobility aid—it is a powerful symbol of independence, dignity, equality, and hope. Through this celebration, we reaffirm our commitment to building an inclusive school community where every learner is valued, empowered, and given the opportunity to succeed.

As part of this meaningful observance, our school will conduct the following activities:

🚶‍♀️ Awareness Walk – Students and teachers will walk together in solidarity to raise awareness about white cane safety, promote inclusion, and advocate for a community that respects the rights and dignity of persons with visual impairment.

🦯 Blindfold Simulation – Learners and teachers will experience navigating with a white cane while blindfolded through guided simulation activities designed to foster empathy, understanding, and appreciation of the daily experiences of persons who are blind or visually impaired.

Together, let us learn, understand, and become advocates of accessibility, kindness, and inclusion. By walking side by side and experiencing the world through another person's perspective, we strengthen our commitment to creating a school where everyone belongs and every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

💙 Join us as we celebrate ability beyond disability and inspire a future where inclusion begins with each one of us.
