Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School

Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School A God Centered School It is named after the holy patroness of Camp Phillips. The school is recognized by the government. Another two American sisters, Sr. Mila S.

In early June 1963, the sisters of the congregation of Saint Joseph of Newark, New Jersey, with the assistance of the Philippine Packing Corporation opened Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School. As envisioned this school aims to establish a high standard of elementary education in the Plantation. This hopefully answers the increasing demand of parents for a school whose standard of instruction cou

ld equally compare with the best school in the country. Schoolyear 1963 started with 18 children in Kindergarten and 17 First graders. Sister Eucharista was the first principal. Miss Aurora Reyes and Miss Teresita Jusi (now Cubero) were the first teachers. The Saint Joseph sisters provided an atmosphere of real learning that growing knowledge was very evident among the children. Sister Joan Tresch came to relieve Sister Eucharista who went on a home leave. Upon the latter’s return, the Saint Joseph Sisters decided to leave for home so the school’s administration was passed on to the sisters of Mercy, Buffalo, New York. Caritas Quinn and Sister Margaret Mary Zimmer ran the school for 4 years collectively after which in 1977, a lay head Mrs. Quiaoit was then appointed to take their place. Inspite the absence of the religious, Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School continues to be Catholic school with Religion as the focal point of its instruction.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR GRADE LEVEL PRESIDENTS AND ALL OUR DEAR PARENTS! 💙

Behind every successful project is a leader who takes the initiative and a community that comes together to support the vision.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our PFC Grade Level Presidents for leading their respective grade levels, coordinating with fellow parents, and helping turn plans and ideas into meaningful projects for our learners.

But these accomplishments would not have been possible without the wholehearted support, cooperation, time, effort, and generosity of all our parents. Every contribution, every helping hand, every idea shared, and every act of support played an important part in making these projects happen.

To our Grade Level Presidents, thank you for leading.
To all our parents, thank you for supporting, cooperating, and working together.

You showed us that leadership is not about doing everything alone, it is about bringing people together toward one common goal. Because of your teamwork, dedication, and love for our children, we were able to accomplish projects that make our school community a better place for everyone.

To our Kinder 1, Kinder 2, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 6 parents, please know that every single contribution matters and is deeply appreciated. Our Grade Level Presidents may have led the way, but all of you helped make these accomplishments possible.

Thank you for believing in our school, supporting our teachers, and most especially, for always putting our children first.

Stronger Together, Better for Our Students!
We appreciate you!
