[𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊] Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) continues to provide dental services through the Health Services Office (HSO), offering students, faculty, and staff professional support for their oral health needs. With Dr. Rom Zeus M. Soler leading the dental initiatives, the College remains dedicated to promoting wellness on campus through accessible and timely interventions.

Among the services offered are 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, which help assess individual oral health conditions and establish appropriate care recommendations. The HSO also provides 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐬 or professional teeth cleaning, 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for added protection against tooth decay, and 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 for cases requiring specialized treatment. [𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐒] From Best Practices to Better Processes: NBSC-PMMO Visits CMU

Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) strengthened its efforts toward improving project management and monitoring practices as its Project Management and Monitoring Office (PMMO) conducted a benchmarking activity at Central Mindanao University (CMU) on August 20, 2026. The activity aimed to gain valuable insights into CMU’s standard operating procedures and best practices in handling related activities.

As part of the benchmarking activity, the PMMO team also visited selected infrastructure facilities, including student dormitories and laboratories, to observe their physical setup, management, and operational practices. The visits provided the team with a closer look at how these facilities are managed and utilized within the university, offering potential references for NBSC’s continuing efforts to enhance its own operations.

The benchmarking activity provided the Engineering Team with practical insights that may contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMMO’s processes and services at NBSC. These learnings may further support NBSC’s efforts to strengthen project implementation, monitoring, and service delivery.

Through benchmarking activities such as this, NBSC continues to foster knowledge-sharing and institutional learning as it seeks to adopt appropriate practices that contribute to more efficient and effective project management and operations.

Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) culminated its ASEAN Month celebration on August 24, 2026, at the Covered Court. With the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together,” the event showcased the member countries through cultural presentations and country-themed booths. The celebration was headed by the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO), with the participation of selected students.

The event formally opened with the entrance parade of college officials and personnel. Ms. Maria Michaela Q. Jamora, outgoing IAELO Office Head, provided an overview of the celebration and delivered her welcome remarks.

Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, NBSC President, shared her inspirational message, reminding the audience that while each member country has its own culture and identity, they share common purposes, dreams, and aspirations. Dr. Ganiera emphasized the importance of solidarity, not only among the 11 member countries but also within the NBSC community, bringing the spirit of solidarity closer to home.

The celebration highlighted NBSC’s commitment to recognizing and appreciating cultural diversity. Through activities that bring people together, the College continues to foster a community that values different cultures while building stronger ties through shared aspirations and a spirit of unity.

Verdejo, faculty member of the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE), for being recognized as Best Presenter in the Faculty Paper Presentation during the 16th Annual Research Awards held on August 20, 2026, at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Manila.

Mr. Verdejo presented his study entitled “A Heuristic Self-Study in Mathematics: Using RANVER Theory to Generate Exact Oblique Triangle Examples for Teaching Trigonometric Laws.”

Congratulations, Mr. Verdejo! Your achievement brings pride and honor to the NBSC community and reflects the College’s continued commitment to excellence in research and academic scholarship.

[𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘] Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) honored Dr. Christine C. Royo, Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, and Ms. Maria Michaela Q. Jamora, MS, during the Monday Convocation on August 24, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court. The Office of the College President (OCP) presented Certificates of Recognition in appreciation of their service in their previous assignments.

Dr. Royo was commended for her years of leadership with the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE), Dr. Go for her service with the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID), and Ms. Jamora for her work with the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO). The occasion also marked the close of their respective terms in these posts, with their contributions to NBSC duly acknowledged.

Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) introduced three newly hired Job Order personnel during the Monday Convocation held on August 24, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court. Sting Ray P. Hubac joins the Supply and Property Management Office (SPMO) as Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III), while Kent Johnson O. Yote and Sherilyn H. Lumacang take on the position of Administrative Assistant II (Clerk IV) under the Research Development and Innovation Division (RDID) and Research Ethics Office (REO), respectively.

Effective August 20, 2026, their engagements provide additional personnel support to their assigned offices, contributing to the College’s administrative and research-related functions.
