Bedbed National High School officially opened Intramurals 2026 on August 1, 2026 with a vibrant parade that showcased the enthusiasm and unity of the entire school community.
The parade was led by Teacher-in-Charge Jovelyn O. Bungag together with our Guest of Honor, Hon. Bonnie G. Sido, followed by the faculty members, dedicated medics from the Barangay Health Unit, and our enthusiastic student-athletes.
In his inspirational message, Hon. Bonnie G. Sido encouraged everyone to "Play with courage and respect while enjoying the game." Meanwhile, Teacher-in-Charge Jovelyn O. Bungag officially declared the opening of Intramurals 2026 with the inspiring words: "May this event foster sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and unity among all participants."
The competing teams proudly showcased their creativity and school spirit through their yells and formation presentations, with the Red Scorpions and Blue Sharks demonstrating remarkable energy and teamwork.
The ceremonial toss, led by our Guest of Honor, officially signaled the start of the games. As the competitions began, excitement and determination were evident on the faces of our athletes, marking the beginning of a memorable celebration of sports, friendship, and camaraderie.
Here's to a successful, safe, and enjoyable Bedbed NHS Intramurals 2026! May every game inspire excellence, respect, and unity.

A Meaningful Monday at Bedbed National High School!

Following the flag ceremony on July 20, 2026, Brgy. Tanod Hilario Caligtan reminded all learners to strictly observe school rules by refraining from bringing prohibited items to school. This serves as a shared commitment to maintaining a safe, disciplined, and learner-friendly environment.
Ma'am Jovelyn O. Bungag ,the Teacher-In- Charge of the school, extend the warmest welcome of Bedbed NHS family to our PSB-Guidance Associate, Ma'am Mayet Benit, a Psychology graduate, who joins us in guiding, supporting, and nurturing the holistic well-being of our learners.

The occasion also became an opportunity to recognize and express our heartfelt gratitude to our valued stakeholders who were present with us.

Certificates of recognition received from the Schools Division Office of Benguet during the Brigada Eskwela Implementers Awarding on July 17, 2026, were formally acknowledged in honor of the unwavering support of our Barangay LGU, represented by Kgwd. Bonnie Sido, PTA President Daisy Walang, and our dedicated Barangay Tanods.

Together, we continue to strengthen the spirit of bayanihan, ensuring that Bedbed National High School remains a safe, caring, and thriving learning community for every learner.

Strengthening School Safety Through Community Partnership!

Creating a safe and secure learning environment is a shared responsibility. In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, Bedbed National High School successfully conducted on July 17, 2026 a School Safety Bag Inspection in partnership with the Barangay LGU–Bedbed officials, headed by Punong Barangay Dalion N. Baygan, together with our dedicated Barangay Tanods, Barangay Health Team, and Child Development Workers (Daycare Group).

This collaborative initiative demonstrates the power of unity in safeguarding the well-being of our learners and fostering a culture of safety, discipline, and shared responsibility within our school community.

Bedbed National High School proudly celebrates its recognition during the Brigada Eskwela Implementers Awarding, held as part of the PAN-ASPULAN and IYAMAN celebration at the Benguet Sports Complex, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, on July 17, 2026, for School Year 2025–2026.

This recognition reflects the unwavering commitment, teamwork, and bayanihan spirit of our teachers, parents, learners, alumni, stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners who continuously stand with us in creating a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered school.

Naey di gan-gan-os di skwelaan tako babaen met lang sin badang yo "Spirit of Bayanihan" and " Volunteerism". Adi yo koma maum-uma ay mangsuporta sinay di madama ay projects and programs tako. 2nd PTA General Assembly | Bedbed National High School

This timeless truth came alive as Bedbed National High School successfully conducted its 2nd PTA General Assembly on July 8, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and community partners in a united effort to nurture disciplined, responsible, and future-ready learners.

During the assembly, the Teacher-in-Charge, Jovelyn O. Bungag, discussed the salient provisions of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, and presented the current student discipline concerns. The meaningful exchange of ideas strengthened the partnership between the school and parents, emphasizing that guiding our learners is a shared responsibility.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the unanimous commitment of all parents to implement a Parent Watchman Scheme from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This initiative reflects the community's collective dedication to ensuring a safe, secure, and learner-friendly school environment.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bedbed, through the dedicated Barangay Tanods, for their active participation and steadfast support. Their presence underscores the importance of strong collaboration between the school and the community in promoting the welfare and safety of every learner.

Following the General PTA Assembly, parents proceeded to their respective Homeroom PTA Meetings, where class advisers discussed homeroom-specific concerns, learners' academic progress, classroom programs, and upcoming activities. To ensure that learning continued uninterrupted, the school utilized its available learning spaces for the meetings, allowing regular classes to proceed smoothly while the PTA discussions were ongoing. This thoughtful arrangement reflected the school's commitment to both meaningful parent engagement and uninterrupted quality instruction.

Indeed, when the school, families, and the community work hand in hand, we create more than a safe learning environment—we build a culture of collaboration, trust, and shared purpose where every learner is empowered to succeed.
