The week began with purpose as Salvacion Elementary School conducted its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, reinforcing the DepEd NIR PEACE Program and its commitment to a safe, respectful, and bullying-free school.

More than just reminders, our learners were challenged to live out the DepEd Core Values, especially Maka-Diyos, by showing kindness, respect for elders, and compassion toward one another.

📖 Anchored on Matthew 5:16—"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."—learners were encouraged to be shining examples of good character by showing respect to their elders, treating everyone with kindness, and becoming instruments of peace. As they strive to live lives that honor God, they are reminded that His favor and blessings are promised to those who walk in His ways.

May every learner become a light that reflects God's love through good character, respect, and service. As we honor Him in our daily lives, we trust in His promise of favor and blessings.

Together, we continue to shape learners who are academically capable, morally upright, and God-centered—ready to become responsible builders of our nation.

Brgy. Salvacion Nutrition Month Kick-Off Celebration was successfully concluded, bringing together the community in promoting proper nutrition and strengthening the collective commitment to eradicate malnutrition among its constituents.

The celebration featured a series of meaningful activities, including a Nutrition Parade, Commitment Signing, and Zumba for Health, all aimed at raising awareness and encouraging active community participation in advocating healthy lifestyles.

As the resource speaker for the event, Mr. Joerin Balsamo emphasized the vital role of proper nutrition in a child's holistic growth and development. He highlighted that good nutrition is the foundation of lifelong learning, overall well-being, and a brighter future for every child.

This meaningful activity further strengthened the collaboration among the Barangay Nutrition Council, Salvacion Elementary School-120400 Manjuyod 2 , the Rural Health Unit, and other stakeholders in advancing the shared goal of building a healthier and better-nourished community.

Salvacion Elementary School will officially launch the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 tomorrow, July 6, 2026, during the Flag Raising Ceremony.

🕖 Time: 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
🎯 Theme: "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!"

Parents and learners are encouraged to join the short health and nutrition advocacy activity.
