Last August 4, 2026, the hardworking students of Grade 11 โ€“ Leo actively participated in the SSLG Monthly Clean-Up Drive by cleaning different areas around the school campus. Through teamwork and shared responsibility, they helped create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for every Manito Higher.

The DRR Youth Camp 2026 successfully brought together young leaders for two days of learning, teamwork, and action in disaster risk reduction and management.

On the first day, participants took part in insightful discussions, interactive workshops, team-building activities, and a memorable campfire that strengthened camaraderie and leadership. The second day featured the exciting Rescue-Lympics, where campers applied their knowledge and skills through emergency response challenges that tested teamwork, communication, and quick critical thinking.

As one of the camp's key reminders states, "We can't totally eradicate a disaster, but we can minimize the impact of it." Through this experience, our youth were empowered to become more prepared, responsible, and resilient leadersโ€”ready to help build safer and stronger communities.

Our sincere gratitude to the Manito Mdrrmo for successfully organizing this meaningful and impactful youth camp. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to empowering the youth and strengthening disaster resilience within our community.

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Manito National High School joins the TREESILIENCE 2026: Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

With the goal of promoting environmental conservation, disaster resilience, and community involvement, our student leaders take part in nurturing nature through tree planting at Brgy. Balasbas, Manito, Albay on July 18, 2026.

Together, let us grow not only trees but also a stronger, more resilient community. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ
