San Beda Herbal Medicine Elective
Herbal and Medicinal Farm Tour

As part of the San Beda College of Medicine Herbal Medicine Elective (MEDMGT 30), students participated in a Herbal and Medicinal Farm Tour at the Institute of Herbal Medicine, Herbal and Medicinal Farm, located within the Organic Agriculture Research and Development Extension Center (OARDEC) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

The educational tour provided students with an immersive learning experience on the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of medicinal plants. Through firsthand exposure to herbal farming practices and medicinal plant resources, students gained a deeper appreciation of the scientific foundations, therapeutic applications, and public health relevance of herbal medicine.

This activity highlights San Beda College of Medicine’s commitment to fostering a holistic and evidence-based approach to healthcare, equipping future physicians with a broader understanding of complementary and integrative medicine in promoting health and wellness.

OPERATION TULI | May 22, 2026 (Friday)

Our students participated in the Operation Tuli conducted at Pedro Gil Health Center in partnership with the Manila Health Department, together with Dr. Alih Catis.

This outreach activity reflects our shared commitment to community service, teamwork, and compassionate healthcare for the community of San Andres Bukid, Manila. We thank all the volunteers, healthcare workers, and organizers who dedicated their time and effort to make this activity successful.

The Third Year Medical Students of San Beda University College of Medicine continue to strengthen their clinical knowledge and hands-on competencies through Pediatric Skills Training.

This activity aims to enhance essential pediatric examination and patient care skills, preparing future physicians to provide compassionate and competent care for children.

👉 Closed Except for the CAB, GSLAW, GSLIT, COM(May 2, 2026 ONLY) and other essential services.
