The Philippine Women’s University - PWU and O.P. Jindal Global University formally strengthened their academic partnership during a Virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony held on May 5, 2026.

The collaboration is part of the Research and Development Office’s 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗶𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗖) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, which aims to expand PWU’s global academic networks, research collaborations, and internationalization initiatives.

Representing O.P. Jindal Global University were 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. (𝗗𝗿.) 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗹 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶, Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement & Strategic Global Engagement (IASGE) and Associate Professor, together with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗻 from the Office of Institutional Advancement and Strategic Global Engagement (IASGE).

Representing PWU were University President 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗠. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘇, Vice President for External Affairs 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴 𝗝𝗿., Director of the Research and Development Office and Quality Assurance Coordinator.

The virtual meeting featured institutional presentations from both universities, messages of commitment toward academic collaboration, and the formal virtual signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions expressed their shared commitment to advancing student mobility, visiting scholar initiatives, collaborative research, and joint academic activities that promote innovation, global engagement, and transformative learning opportunities.

This partnership reflects PWU’s continuing commitment to internationalization, research excellence, and meaningful global collaborations through the iSPARC Program of the Research and Development Office.

The Philippine Women’s University proudly shares the participation of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴 𝗝𝗿., Research Director and Quality Assurance Coordinator, in the 2026 National Innovation Day (NID) Main Plenary, held on April 29, 2026 at Diamond Hotel Manila.

Organized by the National Innovation Council Secretariat under the framework of the Philippine Innovation Act (Republic Act No. 11293), this year’s NID carried the theme “AGOS ASEAN: AI for Growth, Opportunity, and Sustainability in ASEAN,” highlighting the critical role of artificial intelligence and innovation in driving inclusive and sustainable development across the region.

Dr. Dasig’s participation, under the Academe/Research Institution sector, reflects PWU’s active engagement in national platforms that bring together leaders from government, industry, and academia to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships.

This engagement reinforces the University’s commitment to research excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness, while contributing to the advancement of AI-driven solutions for societal development.

Dr. Dela Cruz presented her research titled “𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴: 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯-𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘐 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘺 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵” and a poster presentation entitled “𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴: 𝘈 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘙𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘥𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴.”

Both studies were successfully published in the 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, indexed in the 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿, reflecting her significant contribution to global discourse in 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Her work advances the proposed 𝗔𝗜𝗠-𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, supporting ethical and transformative AI integration in education, and reinforces PWU’s commitment to 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
