• The last day for the online votes of the pictures of the contestants will be on July 22, 2019, Monday at exactly 3:00 PM.
• Your Talent and Q&A Portion will be on July 23, 2019, Tuesday.
• We will have our meeting on July 22, 2019, Monday, in the THE Bldg. Room 2 at exactly 1:00 PM for some announcements.

• SLOGAN MAKING and SPOKEN POETRY CONTESTS are postponed on July 15, 2019, Monday. The guidelines and mechanics of these contests can be seen in our past posts or in the hallway of every floors in the different buildings.

• PHOTO ESSAY CONTEST
We invite everyone to join this contest. The submission of entries is still ongoing until July 17, 2019, Wednesday. The guidelines and mechanics are also in our past posts and in every floors of the different buildings.

This is the guidelines and mechanics for the Cooking Tandem Contest. Please read it carefully.

COOKING TANDEM CONTEST
• The contest is open for all Grade 9 and Grade 10 students only.
• Every tandem must only have two (2) members.
• These are the following ingredients. You can choose in the list on what you'll gonna use in your dish. Participants are encouraged to strategize based on the required main ingredient. The total worth of the ingredients must be only P150.

* Main Ingredient - Pork
* Vegetables
-Saluyot
-Salinom
-Alugbati
-Labong
-Malunggay
-Dahon/ Bunga ng Sili
-Okra
-Puso ng Saging
-Bataw
-Kalabasa
-Sigarilyas
* Panimpla
-Bawang
-Asin
-Gatas or Cocomilk (Gata)
-Sibuyas
-Asukal
-Oil
-Paminta
-Oyster Sauce
-Luya
-Tomato
-Patis
-Bagoong Alamang or Isda

• A recipe sheet will be provided by the organizers on the competition day itself as an official entry form.
• All competitors are requested to wear proper cooking attire. Each team must provide at least three (3) plain white kitchen towels.
• Before the competition starts,each working area will be checked by the committee to ensure that no item not listed in the recipes have been brought in.
• All preparation and cooking of dishes, including garnishes, must be entirely made and crafted on the spot. A team who brings in any cooked item will be disqualified.
• Every team should have two plates for each dish. One for display and one for tasting.
• The participants will be given a total of two (2) hours.
• The contest will be on July 12, 2019, Friday.
• The winner will be announced on the Culminating Program of the Nutrition Month.

Criteria for Judging:
* Taste - 25%
* Visual appeal - 25%
* Originality and Creativity of the Recipe - 40%
* Overall Presentation - 10%
Total of - 100%

REMINDERS:
1. The contest of the Spoken Poetry will be held tomorrow, July 11, 2019, Thursday. For those who are interested, just ask Mrs. Tapalgo or Ms. Baluyot, Adviser and Co-Adviser of the FHP Club for more informations.

Good Day everyone!

These are the following guidelines and mechanics for the different contests of the Nutrition Month. Please read it carefully.

PHOTO ESSAY
• All grade levels can participate in this contest.
• The photo or picture must tackle a topic that is related or connected to the theme: "Kumain nang Wasto at Maging Aktibo... Push natin 'to".
• The essay must thoroughly give and explain the photo and its relation from the said theme.
• The essay must contain at least 200 words.
• The medium or the language can be in English or Filipino.
• To participate, just submit your entry by messaging the Future Homemakers of the Philippines S.Y 2019-2020 page and we will post it here with the at the end of the essay.
• The first day of submission for the entries will be on July 8, 2019, Monday. The last day of submission will be on July 15, 2019, Monday.
• The winners will be announced on the Culminating Program of the Nutrition Month.

Criteria for Judging:
* Clarity and Appropriateness of the Title - 5%
* Clarity and Effectiveness of the Composition - 25%
* Alignment or with Relevance to the Nutrition Month theme - 10%
* Creativity and Quality of the photo - 25%
* Relevance of the Essay to the photo - 20%
* Online Votes - 15%
TOTAL OF - 100%

SPOKEN POETRY
• All grade levels can participate in this contest.
• The poem must have ten (10) to fifteen (15) stanzas.
• The medium can be in English or Filipino.
• To participate, just provide three (3) copies of your piece (Printed or Handwritten) and give it to your THE teacher for the judges.
• The contest will be on July 11, 2019, Thursday.
• You must pass it before the given date.
• The winners will be announced on the Culminating Program of the Nutrition Month.

Criteria for Judging:
* Originality - 30%
* Relevance to the theme - 30%
* Delivery of the poem - 20%
* Content of the poem - 20%
TOTAL OF - 100%

SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST
• All grade levels can participate in this contest.
• The slogan must be related on our theme: "Kumain nang Wasto at Maging Aktibo... Push natin 'to".
• The slogan must be written in English or Filipino.
• The slogan must consists 4 lines and has ten (10) to twelve (12) per line.
• The slogan must have rhymes.
• To participate, please bring the following materials:
* 1/4 Cartolina
* Markers
* Coloring Materials
• The contest will be on July 12, 2019, Friday.
• The winners will be announced on the Culminating Program of the Nutrition Month.

Criteria for Judging:
* Relevance to the theme - 40%
* Creativity - 30%
* Grammar - 20%
* Originality - 10%
TOTAL OF - 100%

JINGLE MAKING CONTEST
• The contest is mainly categorized into two (2):
* Grade 7 and Grade 8
* Grade 9 and Grade 10
• Only one (1) group can participate in each section from every grade level.
• Each group must contain at least fifteen (15) members but not higher than twenty (20) members.
• The song must be originally composed and written in English or Filipino.
• The song must be related to the theme: "Kumain nang Wasto at Maging Aktibo... Push natin 'to".
• The performance must be three (3) to five (5) minutes long.
• The contest will be on July 23, 2019, Tuesday.
• For those who will not follow the rules for the given time, you will be disqualified.
• There will be 3 winners in each category.
• The winners will be proclaimed on the Culminating Program of the Nutrition Month.

Criteria for Judging:
* Choreography - 30%
* Relevance to the theme - 20%
* Originality - 15%
* Harmony and Musicality - 30%
* Costume - 5%
TOTAL OF - 100%
