🧑‍🍳Cutting Board Color Code

In the food industry, cutting board color coding is a critical food safety practice used to prevent cross-contamination between different food types. Each color represents a specific food group. Here's the standard cutting board color code used in many professional kitchens.
🔴Red - Raw meat (beef, lamb, pork)
🔵Blue - Raw fish and seafood
🟢Green - Fruits and vegetables
🟡Yellow - Raw poultry (chicken, turkey)
⚪White - Dairy products or bakery items
🟤Brown - Cooked meats
🟣Purple (optional) - Allergen-free foods (gluten-free,etc.)
✅Why is this important?
🫵Prevents cross-contamination between raw and cooked food.
🫵Improves hygiene and food safety.
🫵Helps with training and compliance in HACCP systems.
