THANK YOU FROM PUP LABORATORY HIGH SCHOOL!
The Asian Student Exchange Program was successfully conducted last December 24-29, 2023 in Kaohsiung Taiwan.
As one of the participating countries, selected students from the PUP Laboratory High School and Senior High School experienced the rich culture of Taiwan as they immersed in a collaborative presentation together with their partner school and host families. Moreover, they have raised our country’s flag by showcasing our very own culture and bagging the Platinum Award. This success would not be possible without the support of our beloved Sintang Paaralan, our representatives’ families and some sponsors.
Special thanks to Dawis Family, to Ms. Joan R. Perreras, Mr. Rogelio A. Perreras , Rhoe Jensen, Kap Rosalie Mauricio-Santos, Kgd. Richard Santos, Kgd. Geline Gonzales, Kgd. Sterling Abalos, Kgd. Kiko Del Mundo, Mr.&Mrs Feliciano Arenas Dulce Buenaventura, Mr & Mrs. Andrew Gamilla, Mr. Mark Perlas, Len Fernandez, Mark Agulto, Annie Santua, and Chairman Jose Rosales Jr. Our deepest appreciation to our PUP Administration, to our partner school the Kaohsiung Municipal Fu Cheng Senior High School, the host families and to all who have shown their unwavering support and commitment. Again, thank you and mabuhay!
Congratulations to John Mark Billonid from the PUPLHS Class of 2017 for placing 5th in the December 2023 Chemical Technicians Licensure Examinations. We are proud of you!
A heartfelt shoutout to PUPLHS teachers, Mr. Joel G. Soliveres and Mr. Isaiah U. Crisostomo, for their outstanding achievement in passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers. Here's to more milestones and inspiring moments in your teaching journey!
It is with immense sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Teacher, Mrs. Odette Grande So. Ma'am Odette who has spent her entire career serving PUP and the Laboratory High School has touched so many lives, not only her students', but her fellow workers' as well. It is not everyday that we get to meet someone as kind, calm, caring, and sincere as she has been. We shall continue to live by the life lessons she shared as our way of celebrating her and the colorful life she has lived.
The So family would like to express their earnest thanks to the all LHSians and PUPians who have extended their loving kindness through financial help, and prayers.
To those who wish to pay their last respect, her body lies at St. Peter Commonwealth until December 12, 2023.
Congratulations to Atty. Jehiel Jahaziel A. Serrano, Batch 2011, and Atty. Ernalin G. Costiniano, Batch 2014, for passing the 2023 BAR Examination! 🌟 Your alma mater celebrates your outstanding achievement and wishes you continued success in your legal journey!
Congratulations to our esteemed alumnus, Jeffrey Louis Din from Batch 2017, for achieving an impressive Top 8 ranking in the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination! Your dedication and hard work truly shine, making us proud at PUP Laboratory High School.

The PUPLHS History
The PUP Laboratory High School has gone a long long way from its humble beginnings in 1954 as the Philippine College of Commerce Laboratory High School offering only a commercial curriculum to the secondary school that is keeping pace with the technical developments of the cyber age.
Republic Act 779 converted the Philippine School of Commerce into the Philippine College of Commerce that offered the 4-year Bachelor of Science in Business Education, an academic development that made imperative the establishment of a secondary school where senior BSBE students could observe and practice-teach.
There were only eight pioneer teachers when the laboratory high school opened in 1955. Listed in the roster were Virginia Aldana, Purificacion Cecilio, Ruth David, Norma Diamante, Fulcida Eligado, Luz Gonzales, and Gloria Talastas. They were soon joined by 18 new recruits; Natividad Agana, Lydia Camit, Racquel Bernardo, Elsie Borja, Carolina Calderon, Fermin Cruz, Rosalina de Lara, Ernesto Dumlao, Luisa de Lara, Soledad London, Celia Rejuso, Julie del Rosario, Tomas San Pedro, Elena Sta. Ana, Francisco Santos, Victoria Tanjutco, Carmen Tupas, and Lydia Villa.
Serving at the helm of the school was a succession of able and competent principals: Apolinaria Seva, Brigido Sadsad, Gloria Talastas, Angelina Manapat, Rosario Battung, Josefina Tan, Rosa Guirao, Fe Salting, Charito Montemayor, Liceria Lorenzo, Carmencita L. Castolo and the incumbent Corazon C. Tahil.
