HE IS RISEN! ✨

“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”- Matthew 28: 5-6

“He is not here.” Christ is no longer confined to the place of suffering, yet He remains present with those who still suffer- waiting for us to follow.

🌿 PALM SUNDAY 🌿

Alam mo ba? Tinanggap ng mga tao si Jesus sa Jerusalem sa pamamagitan ng pagwagayway ng mga palaspas. Ang palaspas ay isang simbolo ng tagumpay, kapayapaan, at pagiging Hari.

🌿 PANAHON NG KUWARESMA 🌿

Ano nga ba ang ito?

Ang Panahon ng Kuwaresma ay ang apatnapung (40) araw sa panahong liturhikal ng Sangka-Kristiyanuhan.

Ito ay nagsisimula sa Ash Wednesday hanggang sa bisperas ng Linggo ng Pagkabuhay. Sa pagbilang na ito ay hindi kasama ang mga araw ng Linggo.

Ang Kuwaresma ay panahon ng paggunita at pagbubulay ng mga mananampalataya sa naging buhay ni Jesus na nagpakita ng mabuting huwaran para sa lahat—ang pakikisalamuha sa lahat at pagbibigay ng pag-asa sa mga nangangailangan nito.

Tayo rin ay inaanyayahan na magsisi sa ating mga nagawang pagkakasala, at magbago ng buhay tungo sa kabutihan. Bahagi ng paggunitang ito ay ang biyaya ng kaligtasang kaloob ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakasakit, kamatayan, at pagkabuhay na mag-uli ni Cristo Jesus.

Sama-sama tayo bilang iglesya ng Diyos sa paggunita at pagbubulay sa gabay ng Espiritu ng Diyos.

“Gayunman,” sabi ni Yahweh “mataimtim kayong magsisi at manumbalik sa akin; mag-ayuno kayo, manangis at magdalamhati. Magsisi kayo nang taos sa puso, at hindi pakitang-tao lamang. Magbalik-loob kayo kay Yahweh na inyong Diyos! Siya'y mahabagin at mapagmahal, hindi madaling magalit at wagas ang pag-ibig; laging handang magpatawad at hindi nagpaparusa sa nagsisisi." Joel 2:12-13

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞

𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲:
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling (Eph 4:4).

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫:
Jesus Christ, you have brought us together in all our diversity as your family and church. In the face so many situations on earth where hope has given way to despair and wounded hearts, renew our hope in the Holy Spirit’s work of changing the world. Move us to spread this hope to everyone everywhere. You are the true Light, who casts out the darkness of sin, and shines into our hearts the joy and hope of your eternal love. Amen.
