The Technological University of the Philippines celebrated its 124th Grand Opening on December 3, 2025, bringing together students, administrators, staff, professors, and representatives from various campuses for an evening of performances and cultural presentations at the Centennial Grounds.

The program highlighted the national costume segment of Mr. and Ms. TUP System 2025 and the university’s first-ever fireworks display, drawing attention to Filipino creativity and heritage through elaborate designs and traditional motifs. Student groups and campus delegations also took the stage with musical numbers, dance performances, and various presentations prepared specially for the celebration.

The event served as a unifying celebration, honoring TUP’s history while showcasing the talents and diversity of its system-wide community as it moves into another year of service and innovation.

The College–Industry Exhibits at TUP officially began on December 3 at 9:00 a.m. with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting attended by Ms. Mary Rose “Queen” S. Lima, President of AQUAVIR International, Inc.; Dr. Connie C. Aunario, Vice President for Planning and Special Concerns; and various industry partners.

This event marks an essential step in strengthening collaboration between the university and the industry, providing a platform for students to showcase their creative initiatives and research.

Exhibits featuring innovative technologies, imaginative concepts, and practical applications developed through partnerships between colleges and industry partners are now open to visitors.
