With the passage of A Bill Amending the Revised Omnibus Election Code of 2025, the 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 is now in effect for the upcoming elections this Term 3 of AY2025-2026.

In accordance with the Omnibus Election Code, COMELEC hereby announces the 38 vacancies arising from the failure of elections or disqualification of candidates upon the conclusion of the Special Elections 2025.

In compliance with 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐗𝐈, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟎𝟔.𝟕 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐔𝐒𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 discuss and decide on appointments of officers to vacant elective positions.

The Special Elections 2025 have officially come to a close, marking another milestone in our shared commitment to student governance, participation, and democratic practice within the Lasallian community. Over the past days, Lasallians across colleges exercised their right to vote and helped elect the new set of student leaders who will serve for Term 1, A.Y. 2025–2026.

This year, 2,448 out of 4,541 eligible voters cast their ballots, resulting in a 53.91% turnout. Your participation ensures that our student institutions remain accountable, representative, and rooted in the voices of the communities they serve.

To everyone who took the time to vote, encouraged others, and stayed involved throughout the electoral period, thank you. Your continued commitment strengthens the democratic processes that uphold our University Student Government.

We extend our appreciation to all candidates, campaign teams, volunteers, and partner offices who contributed to a smooth and transparent election cycle.

With this, we close the Special Elections 2025 and look ahead with anticipation.

Latest and final voter turnout as of 8:00 PM on the final day of the 2025 Special Elections stands at 53.91% (2,448 out of 4,541). All voting precincts have officially been closed.

As per U-DPM 0640 series of AY 2025-2026

Overall voter turnout for the last day of the voting period for Special Elections 2025 as of November 27, 2025 stands at 52.46% (2,382 out of 4.541).

As the end of the voting period fast approaches, the Commission on Elections highly encourages all eligible voters to participate in the electoral process. All precincts are available only until 8PM.
