After two days of learning, reflection, and a meaningful journey, โRevitalizing a Lost Lung in Manilaโ has officially concluded. As the culminating activity of Cycle 1, the advocacy exhibitโorganized by students from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Human Resource Managementโwas inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on June 17, 2026, which aimed to highlight the urgent need for environmental conservation and urban renewal.
Developed through the collective efforts of Blocks 1-1D, 1-1N, and 1-2D, the exhibit presented a compelling narrative of Decay, Integration, and Renewal. Through carefully curated artworks and presentations, visitors were guided through the environmental challenges that have contributed to the deterioration of Manila's green spaces. Visitors were also encouraged to participate in an interactive learning activity to showcase the exhibitโs advocacy.
โRevitalizing a Lost Lung in Manilaโ illustrated how environmental issues affect not only natural ecosystems but also the quality of life of surrounding communities. Examining these realities encouraged students to recognize the interconnected relationship among people, development, and the environment.
Beyond raising awareness, this exhibit emphasized the importance of collaboration in creating sustainable solutions. It highlighted how individuals, communities, and institutions can work together to restore and protect the natural spaces that serve as the lungs of our cities.
As the exhibit comes to a close, the organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited, supported, and engaged with the project. May the message and advocacy presented in โRevitalizing a Lost Lung in Manilaโ continue to spark and inspire action toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future, not only for Manila but for the country.
