The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council is encouraging everyone to take part in this initiative conducted to know the perspective and check the welfare of CAS students regarding to the resurgence of COVID-19 in the university and its increasing cases in our community. 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐲!

Today we celebrate the mathematical constant π (pi) and its importance in our world. Whether you're a math enthusiast, a lover of pie (the dessert), or a poetry fan, there are many ways to celebrate this special day. So grab a slice of your favorite pie, solve some math problems, or create a π-ku poem and join our π-𝐤𝐮 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 Challenge!

A π-ku poem is a three-line poem that uses three syllables in the first line, one in the second, and four in the third to symbolize the number pi, or 3.14.

π-𝐤𝐮 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞

Are you a lover of words and numbers? Do you enjoy poetry and math? Then we invite you to participate in our π-ku Poetry Challenge!

In this challenge, you will create unique poetry using the mathematical constant pi (π). Each line of your poem will consist of a specific number of syllables, based on the corresponding digit of pi. This will test your creativity in an exciting and fun way.

UE Manila RSO Membership Week Campaign Begins January 25!

The University of the East Student Affairs Office-Manila is holding a Membership Campaign Week from January 25 to 31, 2023, in various locations within UE Manila.

The event is for UE Manila college students who may still want to join the University’s various recognized student organizations (RSOs).

Sign-ups for University-wide and the College of Engineering (CEng’g)-Manila-based RSOs will be at the Santiago F. Dela Cruz (SFC) Building Lobby.

The recruitment for College of Business Administration (CBA)-Manila-based RSOs will be in front of the CBA Manila office at the ground floor of the SFC Building.

Registration for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)-Manila's RSOs will be at the College of Education (CEduc) Lobby, while CEduc-based RSOs' recruitment will be on the CEduc Building’s second floor.

The College of Computer Studies and Systems (CCSS)-based RSOs' sign-ups will be at the CCSS Lobby.

RSO-sanctioned merchandise such as organization shirts and lanyards will be available to those who will sign up during the membership campaign week.
