Congratulations Dr. John Francis Faustorilla Jr. (third from the left), our incumbent DLSU GSC-CCS VP for External Affairs, for taking his Oath as Regular Member of the DOST-National Research Council of the Philippines in the field of Nursing and Information Security.
This was done during the 2026 Annual Scientific Conference and 93rd General Membership Assembly of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), held on March 13, 2026 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
A graduate DIT student, John joins DLSU CCS faculty members in attending the conference. This achievement is a source of pride and inspiration for the graduate student community!

FEATURE: Representatives from the GSC-CCS attended the Laudato Siโ Graduate Studentsโ Formation and Immersion last March 7โ8, 2026 at the Brother Alfred Shields FSC Marine Station in Lian,Batangas.
We thank you to the Lasallian Pastoral Office, University Sustainability Office, SLIFE, and DLSU Br. Andrew Shields FSC Ocean Research Center (SHORE) for the weekend reflection on sustainability and how we as Lasallians can integrate ecology into our daily practices in a growing digital world. We look forward for our fellow graduate students to participate in future student formation activities.

ACTIVITY REPORT: Last February 21, 2026, the DLSU College of Computer Studies Graduate Student Council (GSC) conducted a Local Off-Campus Community Outreach at Santa Maria Josefa Home for the Aged (Cuison) in Malate, Manila.
๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐: Santa Maria Josefa Home for the Aged is a religiously affiliated eldercare residence cared by the Religious Servants of Jesus Charity (or Religiosas Siervas de Jesรบs de la Caridad). They are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate support to senior citizens, and charitable works in serving the needy.
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐: Through the generous donations from the CCS faculty and CCS graduate students, we were able to solicit funds amounting to Php 16,600 to donate goods such as adult diapers, tissue rolls, canned goods, soap, and spaghetti bundle.
The initiative also offered a meaningful opportunity to foster joy, connection, and empowerment. The volunteers conducted a short "Digital Literacy Session for Older Adults" to promote inclusion and safety in the digital age especially for the elderly. The active participation sparked discussion on Cybersecurity & the inclusive and responsible adoption of emerging technologies such as digital banking, digital health, and artificial intellignece.
