𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬' 𝐍𝐞𝐬𝐭 confronts what recent reports have exposed with the seriousness it deserves: these revelations are living cries from our communities. When public funds meant to protect people from floods, to supply medicines, or to build schools are diverted or inflated, 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 lives are placed at risk. This is a moral emergency; Misusing money they never earned from the public's pockets is wrong it takes away their optimism for the future of this land. We cannot accept that reality.

History is our teacher and our witness. We remember the years when power silenced truth, when repression masked theft, and when fear kept people from speaking. The damage of the past should no longer be a problem today; the lessons of martial law and other dark chapters remain warnings for our present. Archivists and historians work to preserve records so that nothing can escape our memory, and to that we owe them the same vigilance. If we allow lies to fill the gaps of history, then the sacrifices of those who fought for democracy will be in vain. We commit to guarding memory and to insisting that the past be taught honestly and heard fully.

We hold that budgeting must be guided by transparency and by ethical responsibility. Government processes require openness so citizens can see how decisions are made and how funds are spent. Transparency permits scrutiny; scrutiny discourages theft. Independent auditing, public disclosure of contracts, and accessible budget data empower communities to question irregularities and demand corrective action. Officials who break the public trust must face investigation and consequence, accountability must be consistent and impartial.

As students and as citizens, learning implies duty. Research equips us with methods to evaluate projects and reveal mismatches between plans and results, we can map where projects fail and where implementation abandons its beneficiaries. We will translate data into action.

Let us rise, in the name of truth and justice. Stand with us now, for the future we inherit depends on the choices we make today. We will not be silent.
We will not allow corruption to steal the future that rightfully belongs to our people to us. We will act. We will remember. And we will hold those in power accountable.

𝕆𝕜𝕒𝕪 𝕊𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕒𝕣𝕤', we're back! 𝖣𝗂𝖽 𝗎 𝗆𝗂𝗌𝗌 𝗎𝗌? 𝘾𝙪𝙯 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙯𝙯 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙪𝙪𝙪𝙪 🫶🏻!

Scholars Nest members are again back together on 𝙾𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚋𝚎𝚛 29, 2025, for our 𝙤𝙧𝙜 𝙙𝙖𝙮. Even if our other members weren't present, they were present in our 🅿🆄🆂🅾🅾🅾🅾🫰🏻, whereas we still made sure that we got to have fun by playing "guess that meme" prepared by our officers. The 𝙰𝙱𝙼 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 📊,was unstoppable in this guessing game, which led them to be in ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ, followed by the 𝚂𝚃𝙴𝙼 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 👩🏻‍🔬 as the ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ, and the 𝙷𝚄𝙼𝚂𝚂 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 📜 as ᴛʜɪʀᴅ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ.

But wait! 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮'𝓼 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓮𝓮𝓮 😯 , the guessing game was not just a simple game, but it had a 𝚝𝚠𝚒𝚜𝚝, whereas the ranking will be the guide on who will perform first in the charades, where scholars are tasked to reenact 🎬 2-3 proposed titles/ideas of their division. After that, each division was given time to discuss their final titles with their members🗣️.

These simple yet fun memories 🙆🏻‍♀️ made us much stronger and know each other more deeply ❤️🖤🤍. We hope to see you next 𝙤𝙧𝙜 𝙙𝙖𝙮 scholars!
