Senior High School Educational Tour
Shrine, Calamba, Laguna
Kingdom Garden Hotel
Last February 26, 2025, the senior high school students and faculty members went on an educational tour that proved to be both informative and fun. The first stop of the day was the Rizal Shrine, where the students had the chance to explore the historical home of our national hero, José Rizal. This visit provided them with a deeper understanding of Rizal’s life, his contributions to the Philippines, and his enduring legacy as a national icon. The shrine also featured an exhibit showcasing his works, including some of his famous writings and personal belongings, giving the students a closer look at his revolutionary ideas and vision for the country.
After the educational portion of the tour, the group proceeded to Enchanted Kingdom, a popular amusement park. Here, the students were able to unwind and enjoy the thrilling rides and attractions, which added an element of excitement and adventure to the day. The fun continued as they made their way to Emiramona Garden Hotel, where they had the opportunity to relax and swim in the hotel’s pool.
The last stop of the day was a delightful dinner at Andok’s, generously treated by Professor Marjorie Borces. The students and faculty enjoyed a hearty meal together, reflecting on the experiences of the day. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to bond and share their favorite moments from the tour, making it a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable experience.
The entire experience was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about the history of the Philippines while also creating lasting memories with their classmates and teachers. It was a great mix of education, culture, and entertainment, and the students left with a deeper appreciation for our national history and a sense of camaraderie with one another.
