Election Pulse: Official Tally of 2025 JPEG Elections

All votes are locked, loaded, and counted! The JPEG-Student Electoral Commission for Transparency (JPEG-SELECT) has concluded its canvassing procedures on August 20, 2025, and has processed 10 election results across 10 polling precincts in the Department of Political Economy.

With a total voter turnout of 184 (44.23%), the JPEG-SELECT proudly presents the official tally for the 2025 JPEG Elections!

President: 151 Votes
Vice President for Internal Affairs: 152 Votes
Secretary-General: 140 Votes
Head of Academic Affairs: 145 Votes

After two days of decision-making and polling process, we declare that the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐉𝐏𝐄𝐆 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, August 19, 2025, with a total voter turnout of 196 students 47.12%.

Stay tuned for the election tallies in the coming days to be updated on who will comprise the JPEG 2025 Executive Committee.

Please be reminded that this tally is not yet final and official as the Commission is still conducting the canvassing procedures. Be sure to stay tuned for the release of the official tally to finally meet the newest 2025 JPEG Executive Committee!

Please be advised of the publication of the Memorandum Order No. 004, s. 2025, detailing the withdrawal of Ms. Mikaela Pulido for the position of Finance Officer from the 2025 JPEG Elections, and the declaration of the position vacant until filled by virtue of special appointment or special elections.

Moreover, all votes cast for Ms. Pulido will therefore be considered as stray votes in accordance with the 2025 JPEG Elections IRR.
