Mother of Herbal Medicine, Dr. Nelia Cortes-Maramba and the Director of IHM, Dr. Cecilia Maramba -Lazarte were asked to present at the session of Open Innovation and Technology Transfer in Life Sciences, Academe-government -Industry Collaboration Success Story: Philippines. The NIRPROMP-IHM experience in developing Lagundi and Sambong Herbal Medicines were presented. This was a session at the World Intellectual Property Office Asian Regional Conference organized by IPOPHIL.

IHM researchers presenting at the ASEAN Conference on Forest Medicinal Trees and Plants at Quest Hotel at Clark. More support is needed for us to put to good use nature's therapeutics.

Visited our NIRPROMP-IHM farm at OARDEC, UP Los Banos to get inspiration as we review our new training modules for the rational use of medicinal plants and organize the revision of the newest edition of the Guidebook on the Proper Use of Medicinal Plants.
