Maligayang Araw ng mga Bayani!🇵🇭

Sa Araw ng mga Bayani, ipinagdiriwang natin ang mga kabayanihan at sakripisyo ng mga Pilipinong nagbigay-buhay para sa ating kalayaan.

Ang pag-unlad at pagbabago ng lipunan ay nagsisimula sa pag-alala sa ating nakaraan. Hindi natin dapat kalimutan ang mga aral at inspirasyon na nagmumula sa mga bayaning nagdaan.

Magising nawa tayo na hindi sa mga pangako na napapako tulad ng P20 na bigas nagiging bayani ang isang tao. Hindi rin sapat ang salitang 'unity' na walang paggawa.

Matutuhan nawa natin na ang tunay na pagkakaisa ay ang pagtindig para labanan ang kawalan ng katarungan sa lipunan. At ipagtanggol ang karapatan at kalayaan ng ating bayan.

As the innings come to an end, it's time for us, the STEM Strand Club Officers, to bid you all a grand farewell. It's been an unforgettable game, and each one of you has made this season truly remarkable!

From day one, we hit the ground running, eager to take on the challenges that came our way. Together, we formed an all-star team of innovation, curiosity, and camaraderie. Like a well-oiled machine, we tackled science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with passion and enthusiasm.

Throughout our journey, we've faced curveballs and home runs alike, but together, we swung for the fences. We've cheered for each other's accomplishments, offered a lending hand during struggles, and celebrated every victory, big or small. Our club was a safe space for creative ideas and a whole lot of learning. Together, we made a real impact both inside and outside the field.

But just like in baseball, seasons change, and it's time for new players to step up to the plate. 🏆

As we say goodbye, we pass the torch to the next generation of STEM superstars, who we are sure will continue to hit those grand slams and take the team to new heights. To all our fellow members, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your passion and dedication have been the driving force behind our success. Mr. Duran is currently a grade-12 student, who unsurprisingly, considers solving math equations 🟰 a stress reliever. He has an outstanding credentials in the field of mathematics; competed and won on several mathematics quiz bees🏅 Aside from that, he’s a top-ranking student and a respected class president for two consecutive years. Mr. Duran believes that understanding the importance of fundamental calculus and its applications in real life is a significant matter to be taken care of.

Why pick Basic Calculus? In simple terms, Calculus is the branch of mathematics that deals with the study of how things change ⚙️. In every disaster may it be natural or not, it happens unexpectedly. If that is something that can happen anytime, how do we prepare for it? If the dangers they bring is inevitable, how do we reduce its risks to further do harm to us? These are just the few of the questions that our speaker will be answering for us, to keep us informed and alert to our surroundings.

To be prepared is not an easy task, but just like what our speaker Ms. Gianna Abian says, “𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.” and with her guidance, we will surely get there. Spread awareness, stay alert!

According to the World Meteorological Organization, the years 2015 - 2022 are likely to be considered as the eight warmest years. As it keeps on getting warmer, glaciers and ice are melting and the rise in sea level is accelerating. 90% ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀᴄᴄᴜᴍᴜʟᴀᴛᴇᴅ ʜᴇᴀᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴄᴇᴀɴ ᴀʀᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ᴛʜᴇ ɢʀᴇᴇɴʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ ɢᴀꜱ ᴇᴍɪꜱꜱɪᴏɴꜱ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ʜᴜᴍᴀɴ ᴀᴄᴛɪᴠɪᴛɪᴇꜱ, as a result, marine heatwaves are becoming frequent – threatening our marine biodiversity. Together with global warming is the extreme weather and climate change, in Eastern Africa rainfall has been below average that led to food shortage. In Pakistan, rains led to floods that killed at least 1,700 people.

These are just a few of the many reasons why we should be more mindful 🧠 with our actions, because even the smallest action can contribute to a bigger cause. 𝘛𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴. Global warming is not just a simple change nor just a simple warming.
