FEU ORADEC continues to display prowess and skill in adjudication in this year’s 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙪𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, April 5 to 6.

We proudly congratulate our beloved adjudicators as 𝙆𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙨 entered the competition as a 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙙𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 and finished his run as the competition’s 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚. We have our 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙙𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙣𝙧𝙞 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙖 wrapping up her run as a 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡’𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 and 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨 bagging the 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚 title.

In the field of adjudication, we present 𝗔𝗻𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮’s excellence as she wraps up her adjudication run not only as 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 but also as 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀!

Following the list of amazing adjudicators, we also have 𝗞𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀 finishing his time in the competition as the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 and being a 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀.

Last but not the least, 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼 brings pride to the organization by bringing home the title of 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 and also landing in the 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁’ table for the 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 alongside Kurt.

FEU ORADEC showcases skill and excellence in debate and adjudication in the Kamalig Novice Asian Parliament held during January 25 to 26!

FEU ORADEC carries on with the breaking streak in the Baguio Debate Cup held this January 2 to 5.

We proudly present our talented adjudicators 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗮 who finished his run as a Semi-Finals panelist and 𝗞𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀 who is an Invited Adjudicator finishing off the competition as a Semi-Finals Panelist!

FEU ORADEC continues to create ripples of awards in the Diliman Schools British Parliamentary held last December 14-15, 2024.

We proudly commend one of our beloved adjudicators, 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐬, for his run in DSBP as an Invited Adjudicator, chairing in the competition’s Open Semi Finals and finishing his run not only as an Open Grand Finals Panelist, but also as the 5th Best Adjudicator!

FEU ORADEC continues to bring pride and excellence at Singkaban Open held from November 23 - 24, 2024 as our beloved contingents cap off the tournament with outstanding achievements!

We proudly present our debaters, Lance Iraola and Paul Clarence Galimba, as the competition’s Novice Grand Champions and 9th Best Novice Speakers individually, with Lance capturing the Novice Finals Best Speaker!

Unto the floor of adjudication, our talented judge, Kurt Adrian Abalos finished off his run as the competition’s 2nd Best Judge and as one of the Open Grand Finals Panelist!

ORADEC continues to display excellence in Morayta Intervarsity held from November 9 to 10, 2024 as contingents finish the run with great achievements!

After contentious rounds filled with analysis and adjudication, Kurt Adrian Abalos finished as the Overall Best Judge within the competition whilst Chelsea Samorano capped off her run as 4th Best Judge.

Unto the field of debate, contingents Lance Iraola and Paul Galimba bagged the 5th Best Novice Speaker title.

The FEU Oratorical and Debate Council would like to express its pride and joy with its beloved alumni – Jerick Kiunisala’s success as one of representatives of the Philippines for this year’s Junior Chambers Internationals World Public Speaking Competition.

Jerick, under JCI, led by Ms. Dominique Spitzer, did not only represent the country, but he also capped off the competition as a Quarterfinalist in the prestigious international competition!

𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗖 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗡𝗗𝗖!

The FEU Oratorical and Debate Council made a mark on the map in this year’s National Debate Competition during November 12-17, held in Zamboanga. NDC 2024 is the largest National British Parliamentary Championship in the country. It showcases a competitive pool of teams from various institutions including Ateneo De Manila, UP Diliman, UP Los Baños, San Beda University, among others.

The council is proud to announce that FEU CS, consisting of Anri Sophia Semba (III International Studies), and Kenneth Canque (III BSBA Econ and Law), capped off the competition as Open Quarterfinalists! This places them within the Top 16 British Parliamentary Debate teams in the country.

Whilst FEU GM consisting of Denise Angel Montes (III Interdisciplinary Studies), and Christian Rafael Gayoso (III BSBA Marketing Management), bagged a spot as Open Quarterfinalists! This places them within the Top 32 British Parliamentary Debate teams in the country.

And finishing off his Nationals adjudication debut, Kurt Adrian Abalos (III BA Political Science), advanced in the competition as an Open Octofinals Chair, and continued on as a panelist for Open Quarterfinals, Open Semifinals, and Open Grandfinals.

We would also like to recognize the amazing run of our judges Stephanie Cayabyab (IV - International Studies) and Chelsea Samorano (II - International Studies).

The organization expresses its utmost pride and gratitude for the level of prowess our beloved contingents displayed in this competition!

📣 JUST IN: FEU Oratorical and Debate Council's contingents for National Debating Championship (NDC) 2024 has advanced into Open Octofinals.

NDC Contingents FEU CS consisted of Kenneth Canque and Anri Semba advanced as the 28th breaking team and FEU GM consisted of Rafael Gayoso and Denise Montes advanced as the 30th.

Meanwhile, Kurt Adrian Abalos, in his adjudicating debut, advanced as a National Breaking Judge!

The organization expresses its pride and wishes its contingents the best for the final rounds!
