For the 13th time, the Philippine Academy of Management, together with the valued participation of PRME Chapter ASEAN, DLSU Center for Business Research and Development (CBRD), and DLSU-PHINMA Center for Business and Society (PDCBS) proudly launches the 13th National Business and Management Conference (NBMC) Proceedings, guided by the theme “Broadening Horizons: Advancing Management Across ASEAN and Responsible Education.”

Ms. Gemma Rose Dublan is a dynamic executive leader serving as the CEO and COO of GreyWolf Technologies Philippines Inc. and Chief Engagement Officer for the Cybersecurity Society of the Philippines. With over a decade of experience in training and facilitation, Ms. Gemma is also a recognized expert in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Privacy (RA 10173), and Data Analytics.
Throughout a distinguished career that includes roles such as Chief Information Officer at Cybersecurity Philippines CERT and Project Manager at Intellix UK, Ms. Gemma has specialized in driving digital transformation and organizational scalability. She is a dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment in technology and has been honored with prestigious accolades, including being named Young CIO at CIO Global 2024 and receiving Asia’s Women Humanitarian Hero’s Award 2024.
With a multidisciplinary academic background—including a Juris Doctor and a degree in Political Science—she effectively bridges technical complexity with strategic corporate planning to foster innovation and ethical digital citizenship in the modern age.
Ms. Jem Mykhaela Tiongson is an accomplished industrial engineer currently serving as a Process Engineering Supervisor I at the Philippine Manufacturing Company of Murata Inc. (PMM). With a career rooted in continuous improvement, she holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and is a certified Safety Officer 2.
A graduate of Batangas State University, Jem has been recognized repeatedly for her technical excellence, earning prestigious titles such as Best Process Engineer and the Murata Boy - Adherence to Quality Award. Her expertise is further bolstered by international exposure through overseas training at Murata’s Mother Factory in Izumo, Japan. Beyond her technical role, Jem is a seasoned speaker who has shared her insights on technology trends, Total Quality Management, and engineering mindsets at various universities across the Philippines.

The Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), an international non-profit research organization, in collaboration with the DLSU Center for Business Research and Development (DLSU CBRD) and the DLSU Angelo King Institute (DLSU AKI), successfully conducted an introductory Research Engagement Session for DLSU Business researchers on February 4, 2026, at De La Salle University.
The session focused on introducing the role of IPA in various research areas in the Philippines. It also presented IPA’s research approach, shared examples from the Philippines’ impact evaluation portfolio, and highlighted opportunities for collaboration with faculty members and researchers.
Moreover, the session served as an opportunity for the non-profit research organization to promote faculty participation in field-based impact evaluation research. Faculty members were invited to serve as Principal Investigators (P*s), allowing them to lead or co-lead research projects.
