🌟🍴 Flavors of Pampanga: A Regional Culinary Demonstration on Kapampangan Cuisine and Culture 🍴🌟
Yesterday, April 7, 2026 at the SSCR Coffee Shop, the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department, in collaboration with SHARMO, proudly showcased the artistry of Kapampangan cuisine with our distinguished alumnus, Chef Allen Luis Dizon.
👨🍳 Chef Allen wowed us with his culinary skills and shared the rich traditions of Pampanga—truly masarap, mayap a obra, and full of kapampangan pamana.
The event was more than a cooking demo—it was a celebration of culture, pride, and Sebastinian excellence. Dakal a salamat to everyone who joined us in savoring authentic flavors and honoring our heritage!

ICYMI: The College of Accountancy, Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality Management of San Sebastian College–Recoletos Manila, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, successfully conducted the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) seminar last Thursday, January 22, 2025, at the SSC-R Coffee Shop.
The seminar featured our alumnus, Dr. Freddie Quinito, an accredited FBSE Trainer from the Department of Tourism, who shared valuable insights on service excellence and Filipino brand values among Tourism and Hospitality Management students.

✨SHARMO DECEMBER HIGHLIGHTS✨
On December 12, 2025, SHARMO students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of luxury hospitality through the Hotel Dine & Learn Seminar held at Okada Manila. Participants experienced a unique blend of professional learning and real-world exposure designed to complement their academic journey
The day began with a seminar led by hotel professionals, who shared valuable insights on hospitality grooming, food safety & hygiene, and service excellence in today’s global industry. Students were able to observe best practices, ask meaningful questions, and reflect on how classroom lessons translate into professional settings.
Following the seminar, participants enjoyed a sumptuous buffet lunch at Medley Buffet, allowing them to savor a wide array of international and regional cuisines while gaining firsthand exposure to hotel-based food service operations.
More than just a field trip, this Hotel Dine & Learn journey was a celebration of learning and ambition—empowering students to pursue their passions while upholding the values of service and excellence.

On December 5, 2025, at the SSCR Coffee Shop, SHARMO proudly launched the “Sharing knowledge, serving communities: Hospitality Skills Sharing Outreach Program”, where our student leaders shared essential skills like table setting, napkin folding, and bed making with our partner community. Beyond technical know‑how, the program fostered teamwork, creativity, and empowerment—proving that hospitality can uplift lives and strengthen school‑community partnerships. 🌍
