St. Peter the Apostle School Kindergarten

In the ECE Department, we do not only hone their talents, we also nurture their skills.
During the Coloring, Free-Hand Drawing, and Writing Contests (both in Chinese and English) held last January and February, our students showcased not only their creativity but also their discipline, imagination, and confidence.
And we recognize and celebrate their hard work through encouragement and by giving them opportunities to shine even more.

“Celebrating 50 Years with the Talents of Tomorrow ”
In line with the 50th founding anniversary of St. Peter the Apostle School, the ECE Department organized a mini talent show on Friday, February 20. Eight finalists representing Nursery 1, Nursery 2, and Kindergarten displayed their skills in gymnastics, singing, dancing, storytelling, and piano playing. Their performances gave honor to the school’s legacy of nurturing excellence and creativity. Truly, the talents of tomorrow shone today.

Last February 13, the children of the ECE Department joyfully ushered in the Year of the Horse. The event highlighted the significance of their Chinese-Filipino culture and heritage. Dressed in red and traditional Chinese attire, the children’s dances made the celebration even more festive. They were also treated to a lively Lion Dance performed by the school’s very own Lion Dance group, composed of Grade 7 students. As part of the tradition, they were also given Chinese treats, and angpao 紅包.
The day ended with the children learning more about the customs and traditions of the festival through videos, and enjoying Chinese delicacies for their snacks. It was a delightful way to celebrate culture while welcoming the New Year.
