A heartfelt congratulations to Batch 87 of Deck Prospective Officer Training Program for completing yet another milestone in their maritime journey.

The ceremony brought together UMTC's Managing Director, Engr. Donald Bautista, Deck Technical Faculty, led by Capt. Albino Ridulfa with 2/O Ma. Corazon Carlos, alongside Marlow Navigation Philippines' Career Development Team headed by C/O Joemar Masacote, who all recognized cadets' hard work and perseverance, and commitment.

This event allowed trainees to share their experiences and achievements with pride and honor.

As they prepare to take on greater responsibilities at sea, celebrates this milestone and remains committed to developing competent, confident, and globally competitive maritime professionals.

Honoring the past to inspire the future.

Deck and Engine Cadets recently visited the newly opened Museo del Galeon at SM Mall of Asia - an enriching experience aimed at deepening their appreciation of the maritime heritage that shaped global history.

We support this initiative by its principal, Marlow Navigation; the educational visit allowed our future seafarers to explore the story of the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade and understand the enduring role of maritime professionals across generations.

This visit encouraged not only learning about history but also reflecting on the responsibility, courage, and professionalism carried by those who choose life at sea.

As they begin their maritime careers, hopes this experience serves as a meaningful reminder that every seafarer becomes part of a legacy far greater than themselves. 🚤
