A celebration of shared Southeast Asian heritage and solidarity is coming to De La Salle University-Manila.
Soendari Batik & Art, Center for Economics Humanities and Tourism (CEHT), Research Institute and Community Engagement (RICE) Universitas Negeri Malang (UM-Indonesia), the Museum at DLSU, DLSU Southeast Asian Studies Organization (DLSU-SEASON), DLSU-Department of International Studies, and the DLSU-Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub (DLSU-SEARCH), proudly present the Indonesian Batik Exhibition:
“From Java to Manila: Batik Terang Bulan as Living Heritage”
Inspired by the enduring spirit of Bandung, the exhibit highlights how art, culture, and craftsmanship continue to serve as bridges of friendship and understanding across Southeast Asia. Rooted in the vision of Asian-African solidarity and the living traditions of Indonesian batik, the exhibition reflects the continuing relevance of cultural diplomacy in our region today.
Venue: Learning Commons Exhibition Area, 6th Floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University-Manila
