Our teachers, administrators, staff, general services personnel, and the sisters in the community came together to celebrate the school’s Christmas Party last December 19, 2025, in an atmosphere filled with joy, gratitude, and camaraderie. The gathering served as a meaningful event to appreciate the dedication and hard work of every member of the Dominican School Manila community, whose collective efforts contribute to the smooth and successful operation of the school.
The celebration was brightened by a variety of presentations, fun contests, and interactive games that showcased the talents, creativity, and team spirit of the participants. Laughter and excitement filled the venue as everyone enthusiastically joined in the activities, strengthening bonds and fostering a sense of unity across all departments.
The event concluded with a warm dinner fellowship, followed by gift-giving and an exciting raffle that further enriched the festive spirit of the evening. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors for the raffle and some gifts, our partner publishing houses and suppliers, and our dear parents for their generosity and unwavering support, which made the celebration truly meaningful and memorable.

The DSM employees participated in the annual Advent Recollection last December 17, 2025, a meaningful spiritual activity that provided everyone an opportunity to pause, reflect, and prepare their hearts for the coming of Christ. This recollection served as a vital moment of renewal for all employees, allowing them to deepen their faith, refocus on their vocation as educators and staff, and rediscover the true meaning of service rooted in love, humility, and commitment.
Through guided reflections and quiet prayer, the activity encouraged employees to examine their personal and professional lives, strengthen their relationship with God, and find inspiration to carry out their responsibilities with renewed purpose and compassion. It reminded everyone that their daily work is not merely a profession, but a mission of service to the school community.
The recollection was concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass, which crowned the day with thanksgiving and unity. The Eucharistic celebration reinforced the importance of faith as the foundation of all school endeavors, drawing strength from God’s grace as one community. The DSM Parents’ Association Inc. celebrated their annual Christmas Party with their families and the school administrators last December 18, 2025. This meaningful gathering highlighted the strong partnership between parents and the school, recognizing their shared commitment to nurturing the holistic development of the children entrusted to Dominican School Manila.
More than a festive occasion, the celebration served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, open communication, and mutual support between parents and school leaders. We celebrated the Students’ Christmas Party last December 19, 2025, in a joyful and spirit-filled atmosphere that truly captured the essence of the season. The event commenced with an Advent Eucharistic Celebration, allowing the entire school community to pause, reflect, and give thanks, while preparing their hearts for the coming of Christ. This meaningful celebration set a reverent and grateful tone for the day.
After the Eucharistic Celebration, students enjoyed Christmas parties in their respective classes, filled with games, performances, food sharing, and gift exchanges. Laughter and excitement echoed throughout the campus as classmates strengthened their friendships and created lasting memories together. Adding to the delight of the students, Jollibee made a special visit to the school, bringing smiles, cheers, and an extra dose of excitement that made the celebration even more memorable, especially for the younger learners.
The Students’ Christmas Party concluded with happy hearts and grateful spirits, as everyone experienced a day of fun, fellowship, and shared joy. The celebration reminded the students that Christmas is not only about receiving, but also about celebrating togetherness, gratitude, and love within the school community.

Our Academic Achievers for the Second Quarter were recognized last December 17, 2025, in a meaningful program that celebrated excellence, perseverance, and commitment to learning. This important event highlighted the school’s dedication to acknowledging students who consistently demonstrate academic diligence and a passion for growth.
The Certificates of Merit were awarded by our Directress, Sr. Isabel, assisted by our Vice Principal for Academic Affairs, Mr. Bito, together with the other school administrators. Their presence underscored the institution’s strong support for academic excellence and holistic student development.

Last December 15, 2025, selected Senior High School students, together with Mrs. Binuya, our Outreach Program Coordinator, and accompanied by Mr. Bito, Ms. Ducusin, and Mr. Baello, visited BYSMP Bless the Children Foundation, Inc. for the Christmas Gifts Giving activity. This meaningful outreach initiative was a concrete expression of Dominican School Manila’s commitment to compassion, service, and social responsibility, especially during the season of giving.
The activity provided our students with a valuable opportunity to go beyond the classroom and experience the true spirit of Christmas through service to others. As they personally distributed gifts, engaged in conversations, and spent time with the children, our students witnessed firsthand the joy, gratitude, and hope that even simple acts of kindness can bring. The smiles, laughter, and excitement of the children upon receiving their Christmas gifts created a warm and heartfelt atmosphere that deeply moved everyone present.

Last December 5, 2025, the DSM community gathered for the annual Christmas Lighting Program and the second year of the Star of Hope Project. The event drew a heartwarming number of attendees, including our students, alumni, parents, and members of the entire DSM family. This celebration marked not only the illumination of our campus but also the beginning of a season filled with joy, unity, and gratitude.
The Christmas Lighting Program has become a cherished tradition in DSM, symbolizing the light of Christ that guides our community and inspiring us to share that same light with others through acts of love and generosity.

Dominican School Manila celebrated the English Festival on November 29, 2025, with the theme “Exploring English, Literature, and Language: Inspiring Voices for a Future of Hope.” This celebration served as an opportunity to deepen the learners’ appreciation for English as a global language and to highlight its vital role in shaping communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Through a variety of engaging competitions, students were encouraged to showcase their talents, strengthen their confidence, and develop a love for literature and language—skills that are essential for their academic growth and future endeavors.
During the event, recognition was also given to the winners of the Book Week competitions, along with students who excelled in the ACE and Aralinks Competitions. We likewise honored our learners who achieved victories in the Inter-Dominican Schools Unity Games 2025, celebrating not only their skills but also their perseverance and commitment to excellence.
Overall, the English Festival was a meaningful success, providing a vibrant platform to celebrate student achievements and to reaffirm the importance of language, literacy, and expression in nurturing hopeful and globally minded Dominicans.

All Star of Hope ornaments will be hung on our Tree of Hope during the event, symbolizing our shared prayers and aspirations this Christmas season.
