Today, June 19, 2024, we commemorate the 163rd birth anniversary of José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alfonso Realonda or most commonly known as “𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡.”

Dr. Jose Rizal’s brilliancy engraved a legacy in owning our national identity. The power of his intellect through his writings and ideas cultivated a revolution that marked his bravery for the Filipino people.

As we look back to Dr. Jose Rizal’s birth anniversary, let us once again be reminded that “𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣.”

Eid al-Adha is one of the major occasions with great importance in the Islamic calendar. Also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice", it marks the great act of sacrifice offered by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) when he was willing to sacrifice his own son for the command of Allah.

Eid al-Adha teaches the depth of faith, obedience, and selflessness. It also tells us to share and help our things with people who are less fortunate than us.

May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to all. Let us use this opportunity to strengthen our bonds with family and friends, and to renew our commitment to living a life of righteousness and compassion.
