1st Place - Y-Kids Solo Storytelling Contest (District Level): A massive round of applause for Edgeen Alain S. Grandeza trained by Teacher Glicery J. Vergara and Teacher Sheena R. de Dios! Your talent and confidence are truly inspiring!

1st Place - Y-Kids Group Storytelling Contest (District Level): We're bursting with pride for our fantastic team for winning the Group Storytelling contest trained by Teacher Rodellene B. Gobaliza and all Kinder Teachers! Your teamwork and storytelling skills are incredible!

3rd Place - Y-Kids Coloring Contest (District Level): A well-deserved shoutout to Erich Jane D. Pada who grabbed 3rd place in the Coloring Contest trained by Teacher Jacquelyn S. Austria and Teacher Rodellene B. Gobaliza! We love your creativity!

Huge congratulations to ZACK AVERIL A. RIO, ELIMAR LHAINE V. YUMUL, MYKEL DWAYNE U. FRANCISCO, and SHANE VALERIE B. PINO for stealing the show and winning the Champion title at the Himig Bulilit Regional Festival of Talents 2024!

Their talent and dedication, nurtured by the expert guidance of Teacher Ramelita D. Rafa and Teacher Mark Anthony D. Rafa, have propelled them to the national stage! We are incredibly proud to see them represent IRES at the National Festival of Talents in Cebu City. ✨

Said public schools are directed to adapt ANY ALTERNATIVE MODE OF LEARNING as it may deem appropriate.

Suspension of face-to-face classes for private schools in all levels, as well as national public institutions of higher education, shall be left to the discretion of their school administration. However, we encourage all schools to implement any alternative mode of learning as it may also deem appropriate.

This is due to the forecasted DANGER heat index of 43°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

ANNOUNCEMENT: FACE-TO-FACE Classes in all PUBLIC SCHOOLS in elementary and high school, as well as in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and Universidad de Manila (UDM) from Thursday, May 2, until Friday, May 3, 2024, are suspended due to extreme heat index forecast. Sa temang "Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Manggagawang Pilipino, Kabalikat at Kasama sa Pag-asenso," ating pinapahalagahan at kinikilala ang halaga ng bawat propesyon sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

ANNOUNCEMENT: In light of the Department of Education-National Capital Region’s (DepEd NCR) Memorandum dated April 28, 2024, taking into consideration the high heat index forecast and the nationwide transport strike starting Monday, April 29, 2024, FACE-TO-FACE classes in public schools in ALL LEVELS are suspended on April 29 and 30, Monday and Tuesday. All public schools are directed to implement ANY ALTERNATIVE MODE OF LEARNING as it may deem appropriate.

Suspension of face-to-face classes for private schools shall be left to the discretion of their school administration. However, private schools are encourage to implement any alternative mode of learning as it may deem appropriate.

This is due to the forecasted DANGER heat index of 45°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) and the announced nationwide transport strike.

BREAKING: Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan declares suspension of face-to-face classes for public and private schools in all levels for Thursday and Friday, April 25 and 26, 2024.

This is due to the forecasted danger heat index level of 44°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

Schools are advised to shift to asynchronous classes.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.
