Sa bawat pagkilalang ipinagkakaloob at bawat boses na binibigyang-halaga, mas lumalapit tayo sa isang lipunang tunay na malaya, makatarungan, at makatao. Patuloy tayong kumilala, umunawa, at makiisa—sapagkat walang sinuman ang dapat magkubli ng kanilang pagkatao upang maging karapat-dapat sa paggalang.

Ngayong Hunyo, huwag lamang tayong makiisa sa kulay ng bahaghari. Makiisa tayo sa patuloy na laban para sa pagkilala, pagkakapantay-pantay, at dignidad.

PLM Propaganda, the premiere LGBTQIA+ organization in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, strongly upholds the culture of inclusivity and respect for everyone regardless of their SOGIESC. In line with this, the organization takes part in the never-ending fight against harmful stigma, discrimination, homophobia, and transphobia.

A trans woman icon, Ms. Awra Briguela, recently posted on her social media account an educator from the City of Manila who left a transphobic remark on a featured post of ABS-CBN News—attacking the young actress. Moreover, according to some netizens, this ‘professor’ allegedly had a history of s*xual harassment issue as an educator inside the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

The organization firmly stand in support of the trans* community, and everyone in the rainbow community, that we are free to be who we really are. Our gender identity and expression couldn’t be dictated by our assigned s*x at birth; perhaps, in this case, by the organ between our legs. This is a call to action for every university in the Philippines, not just UDM and PLM, to make their stakeholders undergo a Gender Sensitivity Training grounded with the lived experiences of the diverse communities. This initiative will hopefully address SOGIESC-based concerns and add more protection to their constituents.

Moreover, we are calling the attention of our leaders, particularly Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Chi Atienza, who recently held Manila Summer Pride 2026. As leaders of this city and in relation to the Anti-Discrimination Ordinance of Manila (C.M.O. 8695), this act of online bullying and transphobia shall not be taken lightly as it was made by one of your constituents. We claim that Manila is a safe city for everyone, especially the LGBTQIA+ community, but these circumstances prove it otherwise.

PLM Propaganda will always be with the communities that experience discrimination, violence, and marginalized. Together we will strive towards a more inclusive, progressive, and safe City of Manila.

Growing up, most q***r child stood up caring for themselves and for their families, especially in times of crisis.

For cheering, for achievements, and even for little things that were never "little" to them. Q***r people has always been up to a 𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡, where the only ones surviving are those who shows less fragility and perseveres to be the last q***r standing.

Why? Bakit bawat galaw, kailangang plakado? Bakit bawat salita, kailangang planado?

We'll learn more answers to these questions in this year's first episode of PLM Propaganda's Magwari, entitled "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝". Listen, watch, and feel the emotions of a child whose honor is only recognized when it's hung as a medal.
