Here is a message from Dr. Julette Feliciano-Batara, daughter of our beloved Sir Kiko:

“To all students, faculty and friends of AILM:
When my father passed away in September of 2014, our initial decision was to continue AILM operations under St. Paul's University Manila. However, after a year of operations, we realized that although we could continue, we could not maintain the quality of what AILM had been and we felt that this is not what Francisco Feliciano would have wanted. Our main foreign funding partner, The Church of Sweden was also of the opinion that AILM was dependent on the existence of Francisco Feliciano . Hence, we have decided to close AILM as a school and are instead donating instruments and books to St. Paul University and UP College of Music.”

For those needing academic records such as a Transcript of Records, please direct your requests to Dr. Olivia F. De Leon, Executive Director of AILM through Ms. Rexie Barrera. Ms. Rexie may be contacted via [email protected] or through her FB account Rexie Barrera.

For those who have inquiries regarding performance permission or royalties for Feliciano works, please direct your query to Dr. Julette Batara via [email protected].

Regular school operations were valiantly resumed at St. Paul University Manila in June 2016 but were concluded after December 2017.

We continue giving our best for the Lord even when alone, and even when others won't. Good job, Shiela for leading the worship yesterday. May they see Christ living in us.

Title: Nocturnal timepiece of conviction
Material used: Charcoal, linseed oil, pastel and cardboard.
Date: 2/23/2017
Dimension: 15”X20”
Description: The Nocturnal timepiece of conviction is a double portrait of religion and work of music, that through time was drowned inside a fish bowl, like the ticking of a clock inside a fish bowl it might silence because it was destroyed by water or the time stop in a vacuum space. The guitar handle and the tree branch that form a cross is the typical symbol of Christianity and the Crescent moon is the symbol of the Islamic religion. Music exerts its influence and sometimes travels through an unconstrained space and time of generation. In every religion music is there as a catalyst of faith countenance.
