NTP Year Beginning Recollection

Our Non-Teaching Personnel had their Year Beginning Recollection earlier today, August 17, 2024 at the PCS 4th Floor AVR to spend time for prayer, reflection, and celebration of the Mass.

Fr. Jason Alde led the personnel into reflection on the coming Jubilee Year 2025, Pilgrims of Hope and in our School Year's theme on the Year of Prayer.

Outreach to the Elderly of San Fernando de Dilao Parish Community

In celebration of the Feast of Jesus in the Holy Sepulchre next week, PCS, being a Parochial School engaged in an outreach activity earlier this day, August 16, to some elders of the parish community, giving packs that include some personal hygeine materials and other goods.

Joining the Pastoral Team of the Center for Christian Formation are some of our employees that represented the Faculty and the Non-Teaching Staff.

All these goods that were distributed came from the generosity that you gave during our Mass Offerings.

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Our school community came together in the celebration of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

We were blessed to have Fr. Aidan Zaballero to lead us in the Mass.

The Assumption reminds us of the reality of heaven and the fulfillment of God's promise of eternal life with him. The assumption of Mary inspires us to live with grace and faith.

MAGPAS FOR THE YOUTH

Last August 03, 2024, two of our students with their CLEd Teacher participated in the MAGPAS for the Youth held at Pius XII Catholic Center.

Sr. Nathalie Becquart, XMCJ, Undersecretary for the General Secretariat of the Synod for Bishops, emphasized the need for the synodality of the Church that reaches to the young people and their participation into the life of the Church.

Dear Parents / Guardians:

The City Mayor, Hon. Honey Lacuna – Pangan will host “Kalinga sa Maynila” on August 14 (Wednesday) along Paz Street from Trece de Agosto Street to Apacible Street. In line with the said program, preparations will start on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The portion of Paz Street will be closed on August 13 and 14. Thus, re-routing scheme in entering and leaving the premises of Paco Catholic School is shown below.
We expect that you follow the re-routing scheme to minimize heavy traffic. Let us be patient; after all, patience is a virtue.

Today August 04 is the Memorial of St. John Mary Vianney.
We pray for all priests specially our very own priests in the school community, Fr. Maxell Lowell C. Aranilla and Fr. Lorenz Moises J. Festin.

We also pray for our Parish Priest, Fr. Sanny De Claro and Fr. Patrick Gunnacao and all priests who have been instrumental in our parish community and in our personal lives.

MASS FOR THE INVOCATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The PCS community held its First Friday devotion last August 02 through the Mass of the Holy Spirit to start the school year in prayer and faith.

May our school year lead us to nobility through the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit with Our Lady of Candelaria as our light and hope.

Reminders:
1. During the 1st day of classes, pupils should bring the hygiene kit, Grade 1 pad paper and pencils. Use small bag only.
2. On July 29 and 30, only one (1) parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany their child in going to the line formation at the GS covered grounds. On the 3rd day of classes, July 31, which is the start of the regular classes, pupils will enter the school on their own.
3. Schedule of bringing of books will be announced on the 1st day of classes. No books will be brought on July 29 and 30.
4. Please fetch your child on time at the GS gate.

Classes and work are suspended due to inclement weather brought by typhoon Carina.

BREAKING: Malacañang suspends work in government offices and classes in the National Capital Region, Region III, and Region IV-A on Thursday, July 25, due to the continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon .

This was announced by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin through the Presidential Communications Office.

"Agencies with functions involving the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and or the performance of other vital services" shall be exempted from the suspension and continue their operations, the published post states.

Private companies and offices' work suspension is left to their respective head's discretion.
