"International Academic Immersion"

Looking back on the MEM-MRE students’ Taiwan international field trip last November 2025, the experience marked a successful and meaningful culmination of the MFGSEMS subject (Field Trip and Seminars). The students gained valuable exposure to advanced manufacturing, automation, innovation, and technology through visits to leading universities and industries in Taiwan.

Their itinerary included visits to National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taichung Software Park, HIWIN Technologies Corp., Siemens Taiwan, and Ming Chi University of Technology, where they experienced firsthand advanced technologies, innovation, and modern industrial practices.

As part of the Department of Biomedical, Manufacturing, and Robotics Engineering’s curriculum, this foreign immersion program continues to provide students with global academic and industry perspectives while allowing them to appreciate Taiwan’s rich culture and heritage.✈️🤖⚙️

From the very beginning, manufacturing started with the human hand.

Simple hand tools.
Carefully shaping materials.
Building solutions through skill, precision, and creativity.

But the world kept moving forward.

Hand tools became machines.
Machines became systems.
And systems became intelligent.

Today, manufacturing is no longer just about making products.
It’s about creating the future.

In the Department of Biomedical, Manufacturing, and Robotics Engineering, you will learn the foundations of modern manufacturing methods from conceptual development, digital design, ideation, and optimization to materials processing, industrial fabrication, and intelligent manufacturing systems

Because modern engineers do more than operate machines.
They solve human problems.
They innovate with purpose.
They create technology that enhances the way people live.

So if you are ready to build, innovate, and shape tomorrow…

Your journey starts here!

Welcome to Biomedical, Manufacturing, and Robotics Engineering!
