We are pleased to invite you to a Virtual Information Session for Applicants of the ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Fund (ASTIF) Call 2026, hosted by the ASEAN Secretariat on behalf of COSTI on 20 August 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM (GMT+7/Jakarta Time).

The session will provide an overview of the Call, including:
Call theme;
Funding tracks;
Eligibility;
Submission process; and
Evaluation criteria.

It will also feature a live Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to raise questions regarding the Call.

The Embassy of Canada in the Philippines is pleased to share this call for applications for the Safe Sisters Fellowship, a regional initiative under Internews' Promoting Resilience, Integrity and Safety in Media (PRISM) project supported by the Government of Canada.

The fellowship will run from September 2026 to July 2027 and is open to applicants from the Philippines and Malaysia.

Safe Sisters aims to strengthen the digital safety, resilience, and leadership of women in public-facing roles who are increasingly exposed to online harms because of their work. The project welcomes applications from journalists, media workers, human rights defenders, civil society leaders, activists, researchers, academics, digital advocates, and community leaders.

The fellowship will include virtual learning sessions, advanced training, mentorship, Training of Trainers, peer learning, and regional networking. Selected fellows will also receive small grants to design and implement community-based digital safety initiatives. Through these activities, fellows will gain practical skills to prevent, navigate, and respond to gendered disinformation, technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), and other digital threats. Fellows will also become part of a growing regional network of women leaders working to advance digital safety and resilience within their organizations and communities.

🇯🇵🤖 Explore AI and data science with the Global Consumer Intelligence Course at the University of Tokyo!

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications to the Global Consumer Intelligence (GCI) Course offered by the Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory of the University of Tokyo, Japan.

The GCI Course is a free, English-language introductory program on artificial intelligence (AI) and data science, covering foundational topics such as Python, machine learning, and business applications. Supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the course provides students with an opportunity to strengthen their foundational knowledge and skills in AI and data science.
