Our Story

CARe Home of Alternative Mathematics, Inc. (CARe) was established in February 2016, with San Antonio de Padua Center for Alternative Mathematics (SAPCAM) as its sister school (22 years of operation/service) and source of research studies. Our primary goal is to launch the child’s first steps in learning in the right direction.

The quality of learning is not just measured in the level and adeptness of the curriculum to be taught. This is likened to a farmer being given the seed to plant but was never taught how to first prepare the land that will receive the seed. The human brain is a farm land with infinite potentials for whatever crops and high yielding products that can be planted. But the failure more often lies in the indiscriminate spreading of the seeds without being aware if the farm land, or the brain is ready to receive the proper instructions.

Often, it is misunderstood that the capacity to memorize is the real sign of intelligence. The true retention of learning is in understanding that requires the patience of analysis. In our 22 years of research, we have discovered a part of the brain responsible for analysis. And in the early intervention of stimulating this brain part lies the true adeptness of learning.

Our Alternative Mathematics program, a new perspective in learning Math, just as an Engineer sees an object in different perspectives, helps heal the student’s fear or trauma in the said subject. The student develops a positive attitude towards learning in general. We turn the negative to positive, hate to love and nightmare to sweet dreams.
