Where does the Philippines stand in the EV battery value chain?

Right now, the Philippines is a raw material supplier exporting nickel ore to be refined abroad while we import finished battery cells. EVAP Executive Director Jose Bienvenido Manuel Biona says we can do more by pre-processing nickel for export, bringing back cells, and growing our strength in battery pack assembly and electronics.
