On November 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM, the Political Science 32 students of Universidad de Manila, observed 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘰. 32 of the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Maynila, presided over by 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘓𝘦𝘪 “𝘊𝘩𝘪” 𝘐. 𝘈𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘻𝘢 (Chi Atienza). This activity is part of our course PSC313 – Local Government in the Philippines, giving us firsthand exposure to the legislative processes of the city council of Manila.

We extend our gratitude to our Local Government of the Philippines professor—𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧. 𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘺𝘯 𝘏𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘴, for giving us this opportunity to witness local governance in person and deepen our understanding of how ordinances and resolutions are deliberated and adopted for the community.
