On 24 April 2026, LU3 students of the UP College of Medicine gathered for the second and final day of the 2026 UPCM Students' Research Colloquium, where they presented the final research protocols they had worked on and refined over the past several months.
Simultaneous sessions were held at the UPMASA Auditorium and Ramon S. Ang Auditorium of the Henry Sy Sr. Medical Sciences Building, featuring studies under the clusters on Nutrition and Maternal-Child Health, and Environmental Health and Occupational Exposure.
The presentations tackled a wide range of public health concerns, reflecting the students' efforts to develop research that addresses the health needs of the communities they hope to serve in the future.
Congratulations to all the student presenters for successfully sharing the outputs of their hard work. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the advisers, panel reactors, moderators, and members of the organizing committee whose time, guidance, and support helped make the two-day colloquium a meaningful learning experience for everyone involved.
The research protocols presented over the two-day event served as a testament to the curiosity, perseverance, and potential of future physician-researchers committed to advancing health through scientific inquiry.
