๐ฅ South Australia DAMA lists update.๐ฅ
South Australia State Government has introduced significant changes to the two Designated Area Migration Agreement lists:
There are:
โช๏ธ 64 occupations in the Adelaide City Technology and Innovation Advancement DAMA list (Metro); and
โช๏ธ 139 occupations in the South Australian Regional Workforce DAMA list (Regional).
Also, 29 new occupations not classified on the ANZSCO catalogue have been added.
โ ๏ธ Note that the DAMA is an employer-sponsored visa program and individual workers cannot apply independently.

๐ Federal Budget 2020/2021- Main Highlights ๐
๐ฅ 2020-21 planning levels
๐ The Government will maintain the 2020-21 Migration Program planning level at 160,000
๐ Family Stream places will increase from 47,732 to 77,300
๐ Employer Sponsored, Global Talent, Business Innovation and Investment Program visas will be prioritised within the Skilled Stream
๐ Onshore visa applicants and Partner visa applicants where the relevant sponsor resides in a designated regional area will also be prioritised
๐ฅ Partner Visa Changes
๐ The Government will introduce English language requirements for Partner visa applicants and their permanent resident sponsors
๐ Sponsorships will now mandate character checks and the sharing of personal information as part of a mandatory sponsorship application
๐ฅ Covid-19 related visa fee refunds and waivers
๐ Temporary Skilled Workers, Visitor Visa holders and working Holiday Makers will be eligible to have the fees for a subsequent visa application waived, to allow them to return to Australia once travel restrictions are lifted
๐ Prospective marriage visa (PMV) holders will be able to access a Visa application fee refund
