As we continue to celebrate World Teachers' Month and Audiology Awareness Month, the Young Educators' Society (YES) together with the BSNE1106 students under the supervision and guidance of Ms. Sandra Co Shu Ming convened for a seminar entitled, "𝑰𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔: 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕" on October 27, 2022.

The speaker for this event, Ms. 𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏, a Special Education Teacher and Clinical Audiologist, discussed how it is important for us, most especially for future educators to know and have in depth understanding about audiology. She showed us how hearing loss may be dealt with, managed, and how to identify appropriate strategies to help and support these students when needed so that they can learn as best they can.

This seminar was a great success thanks to everyone who attended and made it so engaging. ✨️

A special thank you also goes out to all the working committees who made this event possible. 💛

ICreate, IEducate: Digital Poster Making Competition 2022

To celebrate World Teachers Day, FEU Manila's Institute of Education invites you to participate in its Digital Poster Making Competition 2022. The theme of the contest:
“The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers”.

This competition is open for Senior High School Students who want to unleash their inner creativity in poster making. You may register and send your output here:

Registration will begin on October 5 2022, and submissions will be accepted until October 19, 2022. If you wish to participate in this competition, kindly read the mechanics and guidelines below;

Mechanics / Guidelines:
Kindly take note of the following mechanics and guidelines for your outputs:
● The digital poster making should be 1080 x 1080.
● One attempt only for the submission of the output.
● The output must be related to the theme of the competition: “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers”.
● Posting of the outputs is scheduled for October 20, 2022. To ensure the validity of the counting, participants must respond/react to the facebook post and follow the page.
The announcement of winners will be posted on October 31, 2022.

Submissions will be reviewed by the three (3) admired Far Eastern University faculty members using a standardized rubric. A Certificate of Recognition and Cash Prize will be awarded to the top two (2) winners.

●2nd Prize: PHP 2,000.00
