Stronghold of Faith

It is indeed the duty of every Catholic by virtue of our Baptism to defend our faith. Being a simple Catholic Laity, we are also given authority by the Canon Law of the Church to defend our precious Catholic Faith. The faith given to us by our Truth, our Lord and Savior J
esus Christ. For this reason, as faithful Catholics, we must also stand and defend our faith. The simplest meaning of Apologetics for us is “the love of truth”, it's not a reason for us being only members of the laity to not to defend it and be silent against the different attacks coming from the enemies of the Church from both outside and inside, because the deeper meaning why we are doing this is because our faith bears the truth of our salvation. With the guidance of our Church, it's Religious, Apologists, Theologians, Priests, and Bishops, we as Lay Apologist must adhere to the teachings of the Church and submit ourselves fully to the magisterium. Any actions committed by this page contrary to our faith must be condemned. That's why, we, as lay apologist does not depend on our own knowledge but to the guidance of the Holy Spirit through the Church. But always remember that we are dedicated to defend our faith innthe name of truth not of lies, we must do it with charity and humility. Our first Pope, Saint Peter said:
“But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you.But with modesty and fear, having a good conscience: that whereas they speak evil of you, they may be ashamed who falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” 1 Peter 3:15-16
Thus, we must do our best to act like “Christ”, full of love, compassion and understanding in bringing our fellow Catholics, our lost brothers in faith and those who do not believe in the truth of Christ to light. We with the love of Christ uniting together in a stronghold of a One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith.
