𝗔𝗡𝗢 𝗕𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗫? 🥵

Palagi na naman nating nakikita ang terminong 'heat index'. Ano nga ba ang pinagkaiba nito sa temperatura at bakit ito mahalaga? Alamin natin!

Ang 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗫 ay ang aktwal na 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁 ng katawan kapag isinama na ang epekto ng halumigmig (humidity) sa temperatura ng hangin. Ang pagtaas halumigmig ay nagdudulot ng mas mataas at delikadong heat index, kahit na hindi pa ganoon kataas ang temperatura.

Kapag mataas ang halumigmig o dami ng water v***r sa hangin, 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘆𝗼 𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼 kaya mas nagiging mainit at maalinsangan ang pakiramdam. Kapag lumala pa ang heat index, maaaring magresulta ito sa pag-'overheat' ng katawan na mauuwi sa iba't ibang kumplikasyon.

Ang heat index na 27-32°C ay makokonsidera nang 'CAUTION' at habang tumataas ay mas nagiging matindi ang epekto sa katawan, lalo na kung magpapagod sa ganoon kaalinsangang panahon. 𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘆 '𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥' kung saan ang heat index ay 52°C at higit pa na mataas na ang tiyansa ng heatstroke.

𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗔𝗡: Ang heat index na nabanggit ay ang inaasahang alinsangan kapag nasa silong (shade). 𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹, 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝟵°𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗴 sa nabanggit na heat index ang mararanasan.

April 2026 Pharmacists Licensure Examination Results Released in Three (3) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,085 out of 1,895 passed the Pharmacists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in N. C. R., Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this April 2026.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Alicia P. Catabay, Acting Chairperson; Hon. Mildred B. Oliveros and Hon. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.

Starting May 25, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Application results for incoming new first-year students for AY 2026-2027 are now available.

It is encouraged to log in to the UPCAT 2026 results portal to view your results according to the allotted time slots.

Applicants who are offered a slot must reply to the offer by 16 May 2026, Saturday. Access the UPCAT 2026 results portal at https://upcat2026results.up.edu.ph/ using the login credentials you used to apply.
